I agree, you have to be yourself! Mother used to say this kinda thing to me while I was in utero.
Every one in the world can sing. Witness a caring "good morning" when you may not be feeling your best. As to talent, it should be noted that this word, talent, is associated with the music business which is pure horse poo-poo.
I remember as a youth trying to learn what my dad was doing. He was real good at math...and if there is only one true talent from the god of the many, it is the talent to do math!
So you can stand in the forest naked wishing the whispering wind would slow down long enough to talk to you or you can develop enough foresight to understand that we are all a product of the many that have come before us. |
