|
|
I know about Melodyne, Cakewalk´s V- vocal and Autotune. There might be others as well, in case please tell me if there is anything better.
The thing is I want to be able to come up and hit the higher notes that I cant hit (Im a bad singer), and I am wondering which software to choose. Can someone help me please? |

| Nothing short of a vocal teacher can help you here. |

Brien's right if you have the basis to work on.
Even the best programs like Autotune only help
if the vocal is only slightly off.
A lead vocalist I'm not but I can hold a note (if I can
find it) as a harmony backing line so I know the feeling.
Unfortunately if you just can't sing, even after tuition, no
amount of electronic manipulation is gonna help.
Them's the breaks for people like us. |

| Just got into editing a few months ago with FlexiMusic Audio Editor, it offers simple vocal editing capabilities. |

As far as I know, there are no magic software fixes that can, for example's sake, make Johnny Cash sound like Enrico Caruso. Similarly, no effect or manipulation software is going to make Janis Joplin sound like Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. |

I appreciate what Fleximusic is trying to do but it is not, imo, editing software. And specifically, has nothing to offer the vocalist.
The software designed by fleximusic is aimed at a younger client, maybe someone with 20.00 bucks to spend, maybe someone that would have to get Moms consent.
It looks like "fun" stuff and really has nothing much to offer the medium to hardcore user. |
