Convert incoming midi messages to big display patch names

NateofCA Joined: 12 Dec 2007 Posts: 1	Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2007 2:23 pm    Post subject: Convert incoming midi messages to big display patch names I'd like to use my Windows XP based laptop to receive incoming MIDI messages and convert them to big display of patch name using a list of names that I set up. This is for live performance to make it easier to see what patch I selected using buttons on my guitar midi convertor. I'm a little software savvy in VB and C++. Seems it would be fairly easy to do this using VB modules in Excel or MS Word. Thanks a lot for any help and/or direction.
