i am taking a track from a cd and wanted to know how i can remove the music and use only the vocals. I am using directx plugin.If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Few instruments can be seperated but not those in the vocal frequency range. Try Band Stop Filter in any audio editor (i.e.: FlexiMusic Wave Editor http://www.fleximusic.com/support/edit05.htm )
