| I have recently put my collection of cds onto my computer, and am looking for software that would allow me to mix and crossfade traks together at parties etc. I was wondering what would be the best for me, my machine is a 3.2 ghz P3 with 512mb Ram and an 80gb hdd, with both cd and dvd burners if i need to back software or anything up.... |

It sounds like you actually want to sit there at your computer during the party so you can mix and crossfade your music. If this is the case then check out some of the Dj'ing programs available. I have tried a couple for a laugh and they do pretty much what you require..
Check the file area on this site under that catagory.
