Hi everyone

I am looking for some software that will help me identify what each instrument is doing in a track. For example you can get programs that will tell you what track is playing eg shazam and you can get software which will write a harmony in written music if you play it through a microphone but is there software that will tell you how many elements there are in a track and what they are doing? Eg piano and strings? guitar and synth etc?

Does anyone know of anything?

Thanks you in advance for your wisdom
Slightly different question from me, sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone know of software that will recognise and differentiate multiple voices. For example be able to tell me what instrument played what and replicate it.?
I am chasing a Copy of KONTAKT the FULL version say Version 3 or 4 for Windows XP Professional.

I believe I require this to play a few special .nki files (Cornet.nki & Euphonium.nki)

Also is there a Free equivalent to Kontakt 3 or 4 that will play those .nki files?

I do not want the Kontakt ' Player ' version because the files ' time out ' after a while and I was informed that this will not occur with the Full Kontakt version?

I am currently increasingly compoising for specifically Brass Band and require as many of those specific sound files that will emulate them to a good degree?

I am a Registered user of Sibelius which has some of those sounds but I don't like the way Sibelius records and the sounds aren't really that good?

Any help would be really appreciated.

That's all for now but depending on the responses I may require to ask more questions etc.

Many thanks in advance!
