I am not under the impression that a RECORDING can be copyrighted. Am I right or wrong?

There is most definitely a copyright in the recording which is quite separate from the copyright in the song ...

You will need to contact Sony Media Software for information on transferring your license to another computer - you can reach them at:

You will find software for playing music over a LAN in the Network Tools category on this site at

I do know of a program with that name from the early 90's but I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for.
