Software Description
The Accelerating Metronome alleviates the tedium of having to manually adjust the tempo setting while practicing to a metronome. The user specifies the Start Tempo and the End Tempo, and the Duration of the acceleration period. The Accelerating Metronome smoothly and automatically changes tempo according to the user’s input. The on-screen controls are very simple to use.
New in v1.9.1 is the upgrade to include Windows Vista and Windows 7.
The Accelerating Metronome FREE v1.9.1 is free of charge, but lacks some of the fancy functions of the full version.
Metronome
I have both verisions of the metronome and they both crash my computers. I installed it on two different computers with the same result. Both computers were running windows XP. The program works, however, after it has run for several minutes my machines crash. Incidently, two serparte releases of XP. I just purchased a new laptop running Windows 7 and tried the program. It runs ok but after I exit the program Windows tells me that it was incorrectly installed. I have both the freeware and pay versions. A really great program but there seems to be a bug of some sort. Any comments????
