Software Description

BeatCounter is a simple plugin designed to facilitate beatmatching software against turntables, or another source of input.

The plugin's top window displays the current tempo in beats per minute (BPM), while the bottom window displays an accumulated average over the last ten seconds. The plugin also has a low-pass filter for improving accuracy, and has a few other options that can be accessed from the non-GUI VST parameters.

New in v2.1

  • New GUI built with TeragonGuiComponents 1.4.2
  • Changing license to GPL2 to match Juce
  • Fix AU validation problem
  • Migrate to PluginParameters 3.x API

New in v1.3

  • Fixed GUI problems with VST under OS X.
  • Now a Universal Binary on OS X.
  • Windows build optimizations.

BeatCounter v1.3 Mac

I downloaded the plug-in. It created a .zip folder on my desktop. I unzipped it with StuffIt expander, but now I have a folder with two files in it -- one is obviously a plug-in module, but where do I put it? The other is a .vst file which I am not familiar with. I am running OSX v 10.5*

This download would be helped with a Read Me file.
