Software Description
Cacophony has a number of unique features which set it apart from other similar programs for Mac. Over twenty different file formats are supported with read and write support, and a number of additional formats can be read in. Cacophony uses SoX to provide effects and file conversion. In addition, support for multiple tracks is included. Up to sixteen channels are available in the present release.

Does anyone know what this program does to the internal mic? It appears to have changed some configuration in my system so I can no longer turn it down or off without turning down the speakers or whatever output device I am using. I have since removed the program but still can't control the input separately from the output. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
