Software Description

MicroRecorder is functionally equivalent to a tape recorder. It allows continuous background playback of sound from hard disk. This allows you to work with other programs while the sound is being played.

MicroRecorder has the following features - Record sound in AIFF and AIFF-C formats. Apple Events aware. Drag and drop capability. Support for 3-1 and 6-1 compression of the recorded sound. Fast forwarding and rewinding of sound being played. Volume adjustment. Pitch adjustment. Elapsed time display in seconds. Bar indicator for the portion of sound played. Pausing and stopping capabilities. Audio Selection and selection display. Repeat play. Self executing help module. Miniaturizing windows for saving desktop space. And more.

HELP! Not sure I've found what I'm looking for.
Need to know what software to use with my PowerMac 7200/75
or PowerBook 1400CS/117 to record all of my old albums
and tapes to Jaz disks so I can burn audio CDs from them.
What software will accurately capture my source material
and allow unlimited recording time (until disk is full at least.)
Is MicroRecorder the right stuff? Please let me know what
I need to do/get. THANKS A MILLION!!!!
