Made my first songs with this program

I made my first attempts at techno with this program and like many others said in the comments section, my PC didn't have a soundcard and this was a solution for a lot of folks like me who could not afford a sound card those days. I am currently listening to one of the many mods I had on my collection. Thanks to Norman Lin for many good times listening and composing music.

I once used this modedit on really old pc's
made some cool mods with it i liked the retrigger effect you could do to sample
make it have that roll effect to drums

Oh... SO many years ago, I wasn't able to have a SoundBlaster. Modedit was the solution, and I've loved it. Now I can appreciate my fabulous equipment in way few are capable, I think.

It was PURE FUN!

I can't seem to find programs on the interenet as easily as I thought I could, ALL I want to do is make music! and I started on MODedit and thats what I know how to use and use well... so if anyone can help me out OR point me in the direction of a better program... with sounds that sound better then the default windows MIDI intstrument peices of crap... I want a distorted guitar that BITES! ya know?

I fisrt used modedit in my 286 without a soundcard and no harddisk!! I made lots of songs by modedit,and listened to them by my speakers!! that was pretty in those days..Thank you for Mark (I think,the author of the MODEdit)..It was a legend..I cannot remember..

After 5 years passed that I wrote that phrase, I still think the same..In the recent times, the technology was unlimited, but at those days that was unique and never forgetten!!!
