Real Wavs??

I was wondering if the wavs that are created by this program are real wavs? I have some wavs I have downloaded, and even though they play in some programs, when I use Adobe Premiere,they are not recognizeds as wavs, and can not be used. Is there a difference in the conversion that makes them "different" from regular wavs? I am looking for something that will let me make the wavs and then USE them also, not just listen to them.

I have some wave files that are 300MB to 700 MB in .wav format. Can't get the files backed up into a 250MB ZIP file -they're too large.

I understand that the files can be saved in a WINAMP format at 1/10th the size.

What's the simplest way to do this?

i have a hp cdrw and adaptec 3.5 and when i try to copy converted mp3 to wav music the program says it cant copy it as it was intended, any suggestions

I'm sayin.....These converters are like the best thing. who would have thought you would never have to buy cd's again, well only the blank ones. I hope those greedy artists and those assholes in the court system dont put mad regulations on this stuff
