Omelet will turn your iOS device into a virtual Egg Shaker with built in Effects

Utilizing the accelerometer's high-precision motion data, Omelet is able to emulate the range of sounds found in a real shaker - making it an ideal replacement for professional musicians to use live on stage or in the studio.

Omelet uses 3D physical modeling with over 20 high-fidelity samples. To produce the grainy sound of the shaker, a synthesis technique called granular synthesis is used to generate various roll, shuffle, and impact sounds in real-time that blend seamlessly together.

This will be a cool additional percussive instrument that anyone can use, imagine your vocalists shaking his iPhone to wow the crowd.
