Playthrough FX is a program that applies effects to the sound input and plays it through the speaker. Everything is done in real time.

The included effects are reverb and delay, and you can combine any number of these effects with varying parameters to produce a wide range of sounds.

I use Playthrough FX with input from a guitar, and instead of expensive effects pedals I can just use this program to get the same results.
