Reactive is an audio synthesizer plug-in for Mac OS X.

The synthesizer engine uses any sound input and turns it into melodic material. It will detect and analyze the dynamic envelope of any sound, and convert it into pitch information which you can use through an eight-note keyboard matrix. The pitch and envelope are then simultaneously used to drive three distinct synthesizer engines featuring waveshape modeling, phase modulation, and subtractive with ring modulation.

The interface is easy to understand making controls and adjustments relatively easy for a synth. You can create a wide range of sounds like: synth and bass lines, pulsating drones, and stepped pitch glides, to glitches, blips, wobbles, and noises, and they all react to the input.
