I'm sorry but we can't post the file because we don't have it. We used to provide a link to it on Voyetra's website, but as you know they have discontinued it.

I tried the export import trick but...
my "Trial period is expired and all I get is the "registration" panel... is there a way to COMPLETELY remove the software ??

Howdy!

I also found my self upgrading the computer and unable to reinstall the program. Since the company still exist, I believe they should either refund purchase price or permit the activation of the program. If the company refuses a class action can make them change their position.

Abandonment of Voyetra Software Products

I'm very disappointed in Voyetra's decision to abandon their products and customers. I have spent several days lately trying to find a suitable replacement as my new computer will not install either MIDI Orchestrator Plus or Record Producer Deluxe because they do not work with a 64-bit system. None of the other programs I've tried has the ease of operation nor features that I was accustomed to with the Voyetra products.

Hello, I have the same issue. I've been using Midi Orchestrator to Record Producer Deluxe. What I do now is to have a clone image of my hard drive stored (Snapshot, Ghost, ...). I hope that Turtle Beach will provide us a way to unlock the product.

Unable to Unlock Record Producer Software

Open letter to Voyager/Turtle Beach

I understand the fact that you no longer produce software products. Just for the want of the Product Key to unlock the software, we, your past customers and supporters are perplexed and distressed to end up with unusable programs. However, I feel it grossly unjust and unfair that you have left us hanging. I have seen over the Internet, several reports and anguish by many of your past customers and supporters who purchased your various software programs are now stuck with "Software Lemons" simply because they are unable to unlock the programs.

I believe that you should openly allow some way or means where we your past supporters who paid for these products to obtain an Open Source to unlock our programs. As I see it, you are no longer at a lost for product usage as you are not producing and generating a revenue from these programs anymore and I cannot see how allowing us to continue to have full access to our purchased software would affect you in anyway.

In my e-mail to you in your response to me, you recommended purchasing other Vendors' Software such as Cakewalk, Finale, Allegro or Sibelius but this is not free. I would have to expend additional monies to obtain usable programs when I had already purchased software from you to achieve the same.

As it appears in order to unlock and to have full potential of the purchased software, one must register the software with you and thus be able to apply the Product ID assigned to the specific CD. I urge you to give consideration to us that you would find a soluble way that we may unlock the programs.

Just think of it, if you had purchased a Rolls Royce and the manufacturer a few years later chose to abandon support and maintenance of these vehicles, won't you be anguished, discomforted, perplexed to say the least if you had to park the car in your garage after finding it unusable and thus put to additional expense to purchase another vehicle to get around. Think of it?????

I trust I have made my point and that you would seriously give vent to those who supported you then.

Voyetra Record Producer Reinstall

If you still have your old hard drive (and it still works) you can move the Voyetra Record Producer registration from the old hard drive to the new one. Using RegEdit, navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Voyetra\Setup registry key and, using the right-click menu, export the key to a .REG file. Then, on your new installation, navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Setup registry key and use the right-click menu to rename it. (This just saves the key in case a mistake is made). Now, using a floppy or thumbdrive, take the .REG file you created and run it on your new machine. The registry Key you saved from your old installation will be placed into the registry of your new installation and howdy-doodee, your new Voyetra installation is registered.

trial period

I moved the regristry entry but... my trial period expired... only asks me to register -- any other good ideas ??

i Tried removing everything in the registry that said VOY***
uninstalled the program.
searched and removed hidden files with voy or VOY or Record Producer or any combination thereof
I set the date back to where the trial was still running.

Reinstalled --- still asks for key..

Unfortunately my old hard drive has been re formatted. Is there no other way to make the program active again.

Registry hack

Just did your fix. It works beautifully. Voyetra have treated their customers with contempt. I won't buy any more of their products, and hope others reading this do the same.

Activation

Since I've changed my computer hard drive I cannot "REGISTER" my soft...
Let me know how to do that.

Record Producer Help

I to emailed Voyetra as Ive changed my computer and cannot use record producer anymore because of the code.

I am disgusted as they did not even answer my query.

I have purchased all there versions from DOP midi thro to record Producer Deluxe.

If anyone out there can help me make it work on my new drive i would be grateful.

As someone has previously stated in a post on this board, Record Producer is discontinued and is no longer supported. Which explains why you have not been given an answer to your query!

Record Producer- MIDI, Standard & Deluxe - discontinued

As of Dec. 2008, all versions of Record Producer were discontinued, and are no longer supported. That includes getting your product key from them. Their computerized registration system is no longer active either, so you are S.O L. if you have to reinstall it, or have lost your product ID.

I asked them if they would consider turning the code over to Open Source. Turtle Beach decided to leave my query unanswered.
