Not as an alone standing synth. Fruity Loops has bought the license and offers now 404 in version 2.0 as a part of Fruity loops!
RAW-conversion and mixing
Hi. I've managed to make a lot of cool sounds on this incredible machine, but I would like to try and put them into a sequence, to compose longer and more complex pieces. Is it possible to avoid repeating the same theme over and over again in any way. I was planning to convert raw files to wav and to use flash generator, but I still haven't been able to make a decent conversion. Is there one freeware-program that will be able to convert my raw files without too much hassle?

Download CoolEdit96.
Open file so that it recognizes all files. Open your .raw file. Save as a .wav

this is the best freeware synth I've found yet!!
Just a quick note to tell people that this programme is "the bomb" (as the kids are saying) - especially since it's freeware. Okay, so the "STREAM2WAV" function is a bit messy - personally I don't mind, cause I record externally - but you can always just about fix it with CoolEdit or somesuch.

Exporting to .wav?
I love this synth, but how can I export to .wavs?

TS-404 has thebest sound to size ratio anywhere
this synth at 120k has a great sound and huge versatility - it does 303/202 and beyond, and its gate/slide and delay features are all excellent. try it. its free.
unzip problems
I downloaded TS404 several times and everytime I try to unzip the file it opens with wordpad I already have the hammerhead 1.0 and fruity loops and they were unzipped with no problem.
Please help someone!!

Excellent software! (NOT shitty)
Thanks heaps to the guy who wrote this. The sound on 404 rocks, and there seems to be a huge range of tones available (not all of them "farty disco sounds") from 303 type through to pure hardarse industrial.if your looking for an original sounding synth with balls thats FREE and SMALL (120k) then GET THIS PROGRAM.

You can open a RAW file in Sound Forge and save it as a WAV or anything you want.Cheers

This SUCKS totally. Full of annoying farty kraftwerk type sounds.Save disabled.Easy to get good sequences but it sounds too run of the mill.

Haha! What'd you expect from a tb-like bassline synth? If you can't produce anything but "farty kraftwerk type sounds", the suction around here comes from YOUR direction. Spend some time learning it before assuming it is a bad piece of software.

If this program sucks so bad, please, write me a better one and give it to me for free. One shouldn't complain about something free. By the way your saving problem can be fixed with almost any basic wave editing software, save it as a .raw file and then simply convert it to .wav form.
