VCVCBC is an app that turns your iPad into a full featured songwriting tool.

This is a flexible app that lets start writing a song from any particular element - be it lyrics, chords, melody or rhythm. This makes the app suitable for all types of songwriters and will also allow you to try writing a song starting from an element that you are not familiar with.

If you are inspired by a story or a particular line, the built in rhyming dictionary will help you write up your lyrics. VCVCBC can capture your melody ideas even if you don't know piano - just slide your finger until you find the pitch in your head. You can assign over 20 chord progressions if you prefer writing a song over chord changes. Finally you can create rhythms just by striking on the iPad surface.

You can then put all these aspects together to finally come up with a working draft of your own original song.
