Software Description

WARmultipress is a multiband compressor plugin that behaves like tubes.

This compressor plugin has a nice interface that lets you see what compression is doing to your audio. It mimics the behavior of hot tubes, to help produce warm sounds. WARmultipress can also recreate the subtle coloration done by old analog audio tapes on your audio.

Since it is a multiband compressor, you can compress each of the Bass, Middle and Treble frequencies independently. This allows for a more fine tuned approach to compressing your sound.

Features:

  • 3 independent bands, with adjustable cross-over frequencies
  • Adjustable shape control to add asymmetry and harmonics
  • Adjustable tube gain, from subtle warming to hot overdrive
  • Each band compressor has input and output gain
  • Frequency dependant drive
  • Optional reel to reel tape emulation
  • Optional soft knee compression curve
  • Mono and stereo
  • Multifunction display zone (real time, compression curves and drive curves)
  • Solo on each band

This plugin has traditional compression parameters which include attack time, ratio, release time and threshold.

Changes in v1.2:

  • Support for 64-bit and 32-bit AAX
  • Better crossover filters.
  • Improved ATR102 tape emulation.
  • Better compression algorithm (progressive curve, fast reaction, soft overshoot).
  • Better performances.

Changes in v1.1.0:

  • Enhanced graphics.
  • Better compression algorithm.
  • USB activation: nomad users can now chose to activate LSR audio plugins on several computers.
  • A license manager program is now available to ease activation.
  • Knobs drawing bugs that appeared in a few hosts are now fixed.
