copying disks and saving songs without harddrive

when I try to copy more than 1 or 2 song/s depending on it's mood it tells me there is no room on disk A (bear in mind I have 5 disks,1 prog. 2 additional score disks 1,1 A.S.D.2,1 A.S.D.3)so it ask's for disk B ???????? want do I do? as I've tryed to change disks it does'nt like it I also need to learn how to copy disks thanks for any help

. you have a copy from the cubase 2,0 ? can you send me the disk and how much is the diskette ?

Cubase files created on an atari will play perfectly well in cubase running on a PC. A copy of Cubase Lite can very often be found on magazine cover disks and works just as well for file playback and a bit of midi recording. Use a 720k disk formatted to 720k on your PC and your atari should access the disk ok to save files to and read from it.

monitor flashes

I am experiencing inverse monitor switching only when
using my cubase program.Please help me fix this problem
If you have any suggestions,please don't hesitate to
contact me.
Example:Cubase loads up normally,after a few minutes
the screen changes from its normal look :icons that are
black turn to white then, the reverse happens a few minutes
later. This condition is definately starting to piss me off
I don't know if you or anyone you know have ever experienced this before

Cubase key (dongle) may have damaged my Atari

I accidentally bumped the dongle (key) card in my Atari
1040 STE while the computer was on. Now, when I try to
save a file on my internal floppy drive I get the
message "Your output device is not receiving data" Does
anyone know if this problem can be corrected without
expensive repairs? Maybe some kind of initialization
procedure?

I'm afraid I cant help you with the problem you have (had) with your atari but I was wondering if you could help me at all!!!!(cheeky i know but i'm desparate). I am trying (to no avail) to get my hands on a copy of cubase for the atari 1040 ste, and can't, I have forked out all of my hard earned cash on the most kit I could get and a PC then found out there was a problem with the clock on the PC and (after some searching got my hands on an atari 1040 ste, I would be most appreciative if you could help me out (I'll give you a big shout out on my first No. 1 album)

Sounds like you've blown a fuse on the io bus.
try metering out every surface mount fuse, if theres one blown, solder over it. but don't 'accidentally' do it again or the board will be stuffed.

Roland U220+SC880

anyone tell me how to send sys.exclusive to turn off the master volumes on the Roland U220+SC880 using the cubase 3.0 and the Atari 1040 ste,as i am programing new songs on the Sc880 and i don't want the U220 playing the same midi numbers
