Guitar Sight Reading Trainer is an iPad app that will train you and help you be familiar with written music.

This app can instantly find the notes on every part of your fretboard allowing you to be familiar in any position. The more you train and practice, the easier it is to concentrate on advanced concepts like harmony, rhythm etc.

This app features a nylon string guitar sound for clear reference. Practice and Test modes: Locate note on fretboard based on note in staff, Locate note on fretboard based on note name and pitch, Find name of note on the staff (without fretboard) and Find name of note presented on fretboard.

A nifty progress indicator of your sight reading skills is maintained per fret group and lefties can also learn with the app's built-in left hand support.

Alternate guitar tunings are also covered with more than 15 alternate tunings e.g. drop D, NST (new standard tuning) and all fourths tuning.

• After quitting the app in test mode, the test can be resumed at a later time. The same applies after incoming calls or messages.
