Software Description
Anvil Studio is a multi-track program for recording, composing, editing, and mixing of music using MIDI, digital audio, and sampled percussions.
The free version now hosts VST-Instruments.
The free version lets you record an unlimited number of MIDI tracks and one Audio track. With the Multi-Track accessory ($19), you can record multiple Audio tracks. Audio effects include delay, pitch change, volume change, filtering, and reverse.
Designed to work with optional accessories such as sheet music printing, piano exercises, ear training exercises, and voice-pitch analysis.

cassette to CD
Hi anyone who can help me,
I have some cassettes mixed by my late brother. I want very badly to get these onto CDs. Does this software do that? Or, do you know what I can do?

You can plug a cord into a line out or headphones on a tape player, then connect it to the line in on your computer, then record mp3s or wav files with something like musicmatch jukebox www.musicmatch.com, using the line in as your recording source

After download multichannel, I no longer capabel to hear the music after having read with Sharp Eye
I sse the notes, but I can not hear them.
Before the download every was OK.
I changed the speed but no rsult.

Worth the bucks?
Can anyone tell me if its worth paying out for this program. Basically i want a program i can record to hard drive without any additional software, just using the aux and mic in plugs on my lap-top, a bit like my old analogue multi-track. Are there any decent effects for mixing down ?

In my professional opinion, Anvil Studio is such a good product that I use it for doing a lot of jobs many "better" packages can't handle, like splitting a MIDI file into separate tracks for modification. I use it for creating karaoke tracks, as well as performance tracks (I'm a professional gospel guitarist).
My hat is off to you, Willow. You know how to make a better mousetrap.

I was looking the internet for forum for Anvil studio Users. I'm glad to see, that a Professional is convinced by this software.
Please tell me Your Website and if You like, give me some tutorial infos about using the additional possibilities of Anvil.
I use just the free version, but like it, how to mix notation, tab, audio, samples, loops, etc. with Anvil.
Is it worthy to by the multi-track...?

I want to record out from my Akai directly to my Dell Latitude laptop. Any suggestions on the best freeware and do I need a special hardware/convertor to go from record outputs to my laptop's inputs?
