Synthclone is a Qt-based software that can "clone" your MIDI capable instruments.

It sends out MIDI data that then controls an instrument to emit sounds for a series of notes and velocities. Synthclone the saves this data in a format that can be understood by sampler software.

The great thing about synthclone is the fact that it is freeware, it means more and more improvements will be coming our way from independent programmers.
