Cubase mixdown.Track plays slow

Help.I have songs on ADAT recorded at 48khz.When i export them to cubase via the optical cable to my gina24 and mixdown in cubase the song plays to slow.It plays ok in cubase normally but plays slow after its mixed down.I think its something to do with sample frequencys but am not sure.Can you help?

Either record them in at 48khz (audio card issue) or 'sample rate convert' them after they are recorded. Recording at 48khz is okay although something will have to convert to 44.1khz if you are mastering to a CD.

Tanks rimmer.Do you know how to convert 48k to 44k in cubase?I am having a night mare.All my stuff is on adat from before i had a pc.recorded at 48k and i cant burn it to cd cos it plays slow and i cant convert it without it slowing.
