Roger Powell's Texture Sequencer Software

Posted by Dean Wilson on Mon, 02/19/01 - 15:57:04.

Anyone out there still using Texture? I would like to procure Version 4, if available and communicate with any Texture users, assuming, of course, said users are still able to see, breathe, walk, etc. I know it's a rea-l-l-l-l-ly old program, but I love it. Thanks.

Texture

I've been using Texture for years now and will share a copy of it.

Re: Roger Powell's Texture Sequencer Software

I still, to this day, use Texture Classic 3.53. Most everything I write is done with Texture 3.53.
I have been using this program since 1991. It dose very thing I want it to do and allows me to focus on the music.

Re: Roger Powell's Texture Sequencer Software

I probably still have copies of Texture 3 and 4. I also have some MIDI files in the Texture proprietary MIDI format which I'd like to get converted to standard MIDI files. If someone would convert these files or know of a conversion utility I'll give you Texture. Thanks.

Re: Roger Powell's Texture Sequencer Software

You should be able to read your Texture midi files with any sequencer software. You may have to read them in but save them to another file name or to another folder to avoid having problems.

I'm looking for the tools program fo Texture 3.53. If you have that, would you please contact me.
