Maratone Buys a Stake in Addictive Drums developer XLN Audio

Leading music producers Maratone, led by songwriter Max Martin, have purchased a stake in XLN Audio, building a new partnership with the developer of Addictive Drums which is one of the most popular plugins here on SMM.

Max Martin and his team are behind many popular songs - if you've got a pop song stuck in your head, there is a good chance that it is a song that came from Maratone.

With 12 Billboard #1 hits under his belt, Max knows his music and has been the go to guy for pop music artists like Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Usher, Taio Cruz, Leona Lewis and Ke$ha just to name a few. Just last year alone, Maratone came out with 4 Billboard number 1 hits.

The new partnership came naturally to Max Martin because he was involved with XLN Audio since it started out. Not only does he support XLN Audio with his business expertise and financing, he uses Addictive Drums and provided valuable feedback shaping it into what it is today.

Max Martin was quoted saying "I was an early investor in XLN Audio because I believed in them. I'm a partner now because I use and love Addictive Drums and I'm excited to be part of a company that is innovative, growing and changing the way we record and play music."

XLN Audio's Lars Erlandsson, its co founder, is extremely positive about the new partnership. He was quoted saying "Max Martin is an icon and a visionary who is known as someone who has changed the history of music and production. He always strives for perfection so it's the perfect match for us."

Future plans of the new XLN and Maratone partnership includes further developing the Addictive brand. They plan to build sounds and plugins that will be recognized and used by top producers around the world. They want the Addictive brand to play a major part in making great music for years to come.
