According to the company, this latest version of the Ozone comes with improved workflow, designed to help spark your creativity. It has a redesigned interface that makes it easy for users of all levels to make adjustments and experiment with the app. The display provides robust visual feedback that will let you dial in the sound that you need as quickly and easy as possible.

The company says, "Whether you’re a professional engineer or a home studio producer, Ozone 6 gives you everything you need to effortlessly produce professional-sounding masters in one elegant package.

One of the notable new features found in Ozone 6 is the Surgical mode, this allows you to utilize digital shapes for the linear-phase filters instead of the default analog shapes.

iZotope added Transient Emphasis to Ozone 6, you can use this feature to better preserve rhythmic detail. You can also use it to preserve sharp attacks by emphasizing transients. This can be particularly useful when mastering drums and other percussive instruments.

Also included in this update is the ability to host 3rd party VST/AU plug-ins in the standalone Ozone app. This will let you build your mastering signal chain from scratch or save and load a preset. It will also let you swap the order of modules or remove unwanted ones.

Various other improvements and new features are also introduced in the latest version of Ozone, including Variable EQ phase control, Seamless Bypass, Module Gain Meters, Triode and Dual Triode Exciter modes, Stereoize Control and many more.

Ozone 6 Advanced features several more additions to the company's mastering system. The most notable of which is the addition of a Dynamic EQ Module. This is described as an "EQ that lives and breathes with your music". It combines the precision of a digital equalizer with the musicality of a compressor. It comes with an intuitive workflow, which you can control to make the processors work as you prefer. iZotope claims that this is "a valuable mastering tool that excels where traditional EQs and compressors fail". A Dynamic EQ Component Plugin is also included for use as you edit and master your tracks. You can apply it anywhere in your audio editing software signal chain.

iZotope has announced an introductory offer that will run until November 14, 2014. During this time frame, you can get the Ozone 6 for just £139 and Ozone 6 Advanced for just £415. Regular pricing would be £149 and £599 respectively.
