Software Description
Wave Flow is a very complete audio editor that can play, record, filter and modify a wave form, using lots of different functions and following the WAV standard. Besides, as it has been designed for a Windows environment, it is done visually, easily and intuitively. In the 4.5 and above versions, Wave Flow gets a new interface, that makes the sound edition even easiest.
Those characteristics are obtained building a program that supports multiple windows or MDI documents (multiple document interface). Allowing the use of different windows simultaneously, the work that have to be done gets easier . Working with a program that does not support MDI, means that multiple sessions of the same program must be opened to interact between two or more waves, but using a MDI program, there is no need to open more than one session of the program, because as many files as wanted can be opened from it, and they will be displayed in their respective child windows.
Once a sound is opened, it will be displayed in a child window, showing its characteristics in the status bar of each window. Clicking with the mouse on a child window will activate it. After selecting a part of the sound (keeping the left mouse button pressed over the sound), all the functions of the main program can be used. Wave Flow also has a complete CD player

- Now you can change the Zoom also using Mouse Scroll button.
- New Scrolling functionality : Now the window can Scroll (to left and right) when you are making a selection.
- Includes a new option to enable/disable this functionality in "Colors and Options".

When I want to create a wave file, I just use a wave editing program (such as "Cool Edit 96") and record the midi output from the computer. As long as the record settings are right on the play control of windows, it should work.

I am looking for a program that can edit a wav file. I want to be able to delete a section of a file or join two files into one.

Get( wave glue) it'll let you combine lots of waves into one and also cut out portions that you don't want.

Searched the internet for "wave glue" and can't find anything. Can you be more specific about this utility?

Can't load this program under the 'Program Files' directory, the installation gets all SCREWED up!

: Down load the music match program. It is a player, recorder and if you go to the file menu it also has a converter. All you do is select the mp3 and press start and it does it for you.

We want to record old records to our HP CDR drive.
Can this program record long tracks to a hard drive and then transfer the file to CD?

Try dbpowerAMP. Works like a charm. I'm currently doing just exactly what you are with that program. You'll probably need at least a full gig if you want to do a whole LP like I'm doing, but if you only go one song/track at a time then you probably won't need as much.

Re: Opening files longer then a few seconds?
waveflow should have no problem playing the whole file...i've yet to encounter that problem, except if i accidentally highlight a section of a song before playing it.
