SpaceWiz is an ambient music synthesizer for the iPad, utilizing a virtual solar system as its interface.

SpaceWiz generates its ambient music via other-worldly means. The simple explanation of how it works is that the soundscape is affected by space particles that collide into the virtual planets. You can place this particle generators which look like satellites where you want them and they produce a particular sound.

If you want to use the traditional piano interface, you can use the onboard real-time synthesizer with its matching set of sounds to create your ambient masterpiece. Finally you can also use a dice for total randomization of the sound.

To make it even more fun, you can assign external midi sounds to each planet and even control Wizdom Music's own SampleWiz or any other virtual MIDI app running in the background.
