GarageBand now compatibile with iPhone and iPod Touch

Apple updates GarageBand for iOS to version 1.1 and is now a universal app featuring compatibility with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Before this update, only people that use iPads are enjoying the smaller mobile version of Apple's popular GarageBand software.

Thanks to the recent update, GarageBand v1.1 is now a universal iOS app, which means you can now easily install and use GarageBand to your smaller iOS devices - the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can now utilize the same great music production features on smaller iOS devices.

You can manually create your music with the built in multi-touch screen instruments, or for beginners you can use the smart instrument feature to allow GarageBand to generate music that fits your song idea. It might prove to be a bit more challenging doing it on small screens but with the new GarageBand update, you can record, mix and edit your songs as you prefer.   • Other enhancements, including automatic fade out and better audio import options and compatibility
