Native Instruments introduces the Traktor Kontrol Z2, a DJ mixer control hardware with 2 stand-alone and 2 remix channels.

UPDATE: November 5, 2012 - Native Instruments today announced that the world's first 2+2 channel control mixer TRAKTOR KONTROL Z2 is now available in stores worldwide and at the NI Online Shop.

This latest hardware controller is designed for professional use and integrates seamlessly with existing DJ gear and the popular Traktor DJ software. And with its USB hub functionality, you can connect multiple Traktor Kontrol F1 and X1 controllers for even more mixing flexibility.

Native Instruments combined many of the convenient features of the previous models, adding two Remix Decks to a two channel stand-alone mixer. Traktor Kontrol Z2 also comes bundled with Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software for easy setup.

This new hardware also introduces Macro FX to the Traktor software, letting you apply various effects to your mix by just playing with its intuitive one knob control. You can easily build a big drop or decimate your track with fresh new effect combos like LaserSlicer, Wormhole, and Bass-o-matic.

Another nifty feature is Flux Mode, which tracks the rhythm and timing for you while you're busy experimenting with cue points or looping. It lets you seamlessly get back into the beat of your track with precision.

Connectivity is provided by Pro XLR outputs and, a booth output while sound quality is provided by its 24-bit sound engine. Controls include precision knobs, buttons, multi-colored cue point controls and Innofaders which let you have full control over your sets. According to Native Instruments: "Whether spinning vinyl, CDJs, playing digital files, or using Traktor Scratch timecode control, switching formats is just a push of a button away – lightning-fast, uninterrupted creative flow."

Button and over all layout is designed to be instantly recognizable to DJs, providing easy to understand controls. Rounding up its features is its NI quality integrated audio interface. All these features are incorporated within a compact but sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, ready for even the busiest DJs.
