This compact pair of speakers is a real all-in-one PA system, with an 8 channel mixer and a built-in 500-Watt amplifier that drives 2 separate loudspeakers, each carrying a custom-designed 8" woofer and 1" compression driver.. It is easy to use and setup, and will cater to DJs, musicians, schools, or anyone who needs an easy-to-use portable and lightweight audio solution.

Behringer designed the EPS500MP3 PA System with convenience, quality and portability in mind. Despite its size, it comes packed with features, and its most notable feature is its innate compatibility with MP3. You can instantly play mp3 music via the USB port provided, allowing you to use the speaker without any third party media player or computer.

The 8-channel powered mixer allows you to connect multiple instruments, mics and other audio sources to the speaker. There are 4 mic/line inputs and 2 stereo channel inputs. The first four channels come with Behringer's Xenyx Mic Preamps, known for their transparency and headroom. The four inputs accept balanced XLR mics, as well as balanced and unbalanced ¼” line-level sources. Phantom power is provided so you can use studio-grade condenser mics and each channel has its own 2-band equalizer for fine tuning. The flexible stereo channels accommodate both RCA and ¼” inputs.

For added convenience, you can detach or re-attach the 8-channel powered mixer as you prefer for easy positioning and access. There is also a storage compartment for the included XM1800S mic and cabling.

The EPS500MP3 also comes with a fancy DSP feature called Music/Speech filter, it allows you to select preferred optimization; Music, with its broad frequency response; or Speech, with increased intelligibility for announcements. It also comes with a nifty Voice-Over-Priority function that can be controlled and activated to automatically lower the stereo channels when using the mic.

Following the trend of their other audiophile products, Behringer ULM wireless microphone technology is built-in, all you have to do is connect the mic receiver to the dedicated port for up to two channels of stable, natural-sounding wireless performance. Finally, this feature-packed PA system comes with its own tweakable digital reverb processor.

The Europort EPS500MP3 is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2013. For more information, you can visit Behringer.
