I tried using WinAmp but I only converted mp2 to wav. This means having to then convert wav to mp3. There must be an easer way

Audio convertor is good, I like version 2.05 better than 3.o

it seems like such a simple concept the ability to convert from one format to another but i have spwnt the last13 hours straight in front of this computer and have consistantly failed in trying to find a program that can acomplish something so simple......

Don't count out Java streaming. java is cross platform so it works on any browser that supports Java. Plus, it will work without a player. When the new Java becomes more prevalent, it will eventually support stereo.

check out streaming mp3. lots of free players. growing user base. better than realaudio, doesn't require expensive server software.

Volgens sommige mensen kan het met easy cd creator, maar dat lijkt mij sterk.

I read that some guys say that Easy CD Creator supports it, but I don't think so.

There is no technology currently available that can do what you're asking for that puropose. If you want midi for your web site then look around the net for midi sites with royalty free songs you can add to your site. If you want to see where audio to midi technology is currently at you can download a program called <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/AMA_Win95/">GAMA</a>.

I've been looking for the same software. There are a few out there, but the ones I've tried don't live up to there claims. There is one called Amazingmidi. AmazingMIDI creates an Output File (.mid) from an Input File (.wav) that contains musical data, and a Tone File (.wav) that consists of monotone data. AmazingMIDI analyzes the Input File, assuming that every sound in the file is played with the same tone color as the one in the Tone File. As a result, even if the music contains several different instruments, AmazingMIDI writes down all detected notes as a single-instrument music. This is the URL if you want to try it free.

You need help. Of course no one likes being a minority, but does that mean that the others are wrong or dont deserve the same up bringing as everyone else? Everyone at one time or another is going to be in the minority group, he will be different and mabye even left in the corner, but so what, its life, and there are others like you which you can talk with. This is no reason to retaliate at others or think less of them, just ignore them and get on with your life.
Living with someone with different skin color does not harm you, it does not make you smarter or dumber. All humans are the same, they only Speak, Look, Dress, and act differently, all of which does not impede on your morals or inteligence. This national allaince is sickening; people thinking that non-white or non-christains are less human. Grow up.
There are black that kill others, but there are also whites that do so too. These people deserve to be punished for what they did. They did their crime due to their desries, which dont relate to their skin being this color, or their religion being that.

Problem with MusicMatch (MP3) demo

I downloaded the demo of MusicMatch via the mp3.com
site. When I tried my first mp3 file, it played at
twice its normal speed.

Then, when I went back into CoolEdit and played a
wav file, that too was twice tempo. The first night,
a hard reboot solved the problem.

But the second night, after trying the mp3 file again,
the tempo returned to twice its normal speed. I
uninstalled the demo, but the wav files still played
at an irregular tempo. Generally they played at twice
tempo, but a couple times the file would start very
slow and gradually accelerate until it got to twice
tempo.

Does anyone have any idea why this happened, or, more
importantly, how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
