Re: converting real to wav

: : I was wondering if anyone knew of a site to get a version of Streambox Ripper that was out BEFORE the Real Audio Lawsuit. Or if anyone could tell me of another program that would convert Real Audio to WAV or MP3. I already tried the ra2wav, and I dont like it because it keeps saying something every 10 secs. Feel free to respond via my email at omisore@hotmail.com.

$10,000.00 LATER & CUBASE still NOT WORKING!!

If anyone could tell me why a PIII 450 w/128meg. of ram
A 10 gig drive will not run this program correctly, it
would be greatly appreciated. One significant problem
is that I get a horrible digital popping/clicking sound
I hear this could be the video card? Also it runs as if
the machine can't handle the task. I have yet to see
this program operate as steinberg states. If someone
could tall me specific parts to buy in building a pc
specifically designed to run cubase at it's best please
let me know.............Thank You.

its in your configuration... you need to resize your buffers and one other parameter i cant think of..
its the one that works in multiples of 64.. i have to go higher you might have to go lower.. also it could be your recording to hot.. but you more than likely just need to tweak your settings.. READ THE HELP FILE ON GLITCHES... adios..

what sort of soundcard have you got? Do you get these noises when playing back a known good wave file or a wave file that you have recorded yourself? Are you recording through line in, mic in or spdif in? What happens if you record using another audio software, ie soundforge or wavelab, same noises? I think you need to give some more detail.

cakewalk help

where is the loop function in Cakewalk 6 I have cakewalk 3 and how do can i Make a Loop

Looking for sound effects creation software.

I am a multimedia/web designer and I am interested in
incorporating sound into my projects. What I specifically
want to do is use sound effects as transition and rollover
effects. I do not want a complete music authoring program.
I am looking for something that will allow me to create
simple custom sound effects like beeps, swoosh, or techno
types of sounds. The software must also be compatible
with the Mac OS 8.1 system and create sound files that
Macromedia's Director 7 can import.

If anyone can help me please e-mail me your suggestions.

Thanks.

Ambient music design/comp software?

I'm really interested in getting into synthesis and composition of ambient/techno music, along the lines of Crystal Method and Enya (he two different styles). What is a program or are a few good programs to get into developing this type of music?

Thanks!

Audio CD Burning

Is there a make or type of CDR that is best for audio
burning.
A CD that copied worked fine on a JVC car stereo, skipped on
a CLARION player. Why?

Re: Audio CD Burning

buy the best that you can.Quantegy or Sony's work well.....good luck.the cheaper they are the worst they skip and pop.....you get what you pay for in the music business.....good luck!

Many people have that problem, I solved it:
1) It doesn't matter which CDR-Drive you use BUT which kind of
CD: (All Kind of TDK-CDs and Traxdata Gold are very good for audio)
2) While burning switch off all kind of background processes: virii-scanner,
screensavers, FindFast (Index-scanning for Microsoft Office)....
3) Use a good CDR software, I recommend CDRwin

Re: Audio CD Burning

What do you think about Maxell's CDR74's? Only had one problem playing those, but the machine itself is on its last leg and has a hardtime playing any CDs.
Also what is so special about those "Music Cdr" taht cost so much more?
