STEREO SIMULATOR

Is there a plugin, filtr or software for an amateur, to turn monosonic recordings to stereo-like sound. Or is there a way around it in Sound edit? Any ideas may help. Thanx

You can do so by applying a stereo effect, such as delay to the signal. fool around with sme other stuff too, such as chorus, reverb or a light flanging can have an interesting effect...
However, teh most basic, and common method is delay.

I need help because I want want to put my bundle into a wave format but when I cakewalk plays and soundforge
records it skip and the midi timing is dizzy. I got a
sound blaster Platinum and a P450III with 256ram and a
HD 7200kx quantum fireball. Seems to be in the timing..
We already tried to change the mother board, the SB... well we have tried all. My song made of 8 audio tracks and 4 midi track. What is strange is that it is the midi that seems to create the problem.

MP3 to cd on a mac

i can't manage to make cds out of mp3s on my mac. i have soundjam and toast 3.5, but soundjam fails to recognize my version of toast (i guess it's too old). are there any other program that let me change mp3 in cd audio and burn a cd?

How do you mean it's protected? I haven't heard of that yet. Can't you open it in the first place cause it's protected with a password or something?

in fact, you can open the document and read it. But you can't print it. The icon for printing is not actif.

ROLAND MC303 OR KORG ELECTRIBE R? SOMEONE HELP ME

Hi,

I'm about to buy a drum machine and Roland mc303 and Korg Electribe ER are the two I'm comparing with right now.

I'm into hiphop production thus I wanna but one that's stronger for hiphop music making, but I can't seem to find good reviews that helps me to decide which one I shold buy.

If any of you'd please give me some advic on which one I should choose I'd really appreciate it.

Hello

I think you would be more impressed by the sound of the electribe. The MC303 is not, in my opinion, a machine built to the Roland standard, if you will. For a completely unbiased opinion, try www.vintagesynth.com or www.harmony-central.com. They both have reviews of the equipment, and www.vintagesynth.com has sound samples for a lot of stuff.

hello dave,just one things,check if it isn't the only pgm who were transmitted,and not wave+pgm.
If you see in your ram there's no sample ,it would be this.
i hope i gave you a way of searching,so work hard and get lots of pleasure...

Do you currently have a burner? Software is needed to burn cd's once you obtain a burner. Software alone cannot burn cd's. Unless your CD rom drive is also a burner you will need to first purchase a burner then some software....(or download some freeware) in most cases burners should come with some type of software to get you going.

70's strings

I would like to produce/compose the strings you can hear in lots of 70's songs.

How can you at best produce/compose them ?

Are some specific techniques useful ?

Does it exist a very good Samples-CD ? Synths ? Soft Synths, midi sounds ..?

70s songs as in Motown-like strings:
-Go for a good MIDI module, such as a Proteus 2000.

-underground techno type strings:
Juno 6, 60, or 106. I recommend the 106 because I have one and a friend of mine has the 60. The 106 is clearer sounding and more stable, and has MIDI.

Looking for a software sampler to use 'live'

Im in need of a program that will take recorded samples of incoming mp'3 or wav's, map them to my PC's keyboard or MIDI controller, and loop them , all live and in real-time. (Something like what 'Mixman' does, but instead of using prerecorded samples, using live music) Ive tried just about all the programs on this site with no luck what so ever! I know hardware exsists, but is there any kind of software?? If not, how difficult could something like this be to program? thanks..

Saving MP3s

I used to use Music Match as my MP3 player and whenever I would download files it would automatically go to a specific file, but then i downloaded Winamp and now it automatically sends MP3s to my Temporary Internet folder and I HATE having to search for the MP3. Is there any way i can create a folder that MP3s can be automatically sent to? Please help!!!!

WHen you save the MP3, left click the link, and save as, tehn make sure it saves to the desktop, or whatever directory you would prefer it to be in

Select the file, choose "rename" and change the extension to ".cda"... :)

Or read five or ten messages below and find that your question has been answered here 25 times already (at least).

Well, you could use Wingroove, but then you have to use Wingroove's wave table. My sound card is MUCH better than Wingroove's wave table and I never get any noise.
But, of course, Wingroove is another alternative.

I just bought a Yamaha PSR-270 keyboard. What can I do by connecting it to a computer? What sofware should I get? I'm thinking that I can play the keyboard and the notes appear on my computer and I can then print out sheet music??? I don't want to spend a lot on software. Your help is appreciated.

1st is Error Starting Program The DEVICES.DLL files in linked to missing export MFC42.DLL.6467
2nd is a device attached to the system is not functiong

problem 1....go to a .dll archive and find the dll u need and install in the directory....
problem 2....find out what program u have that is also using the dll the turntables are using and then close it and restart your computer

Midi extractors

A lot of roms have a sound recording feature in them, if yours doesn't, look for one which does..
otherwise, try "Total Recorder" it allows you to record any sound output occuring on your computer in wav format.

Latency ! Help !!

Cubase tends to have High latency to begin with.
Anyways, try different configurations wiht your soundcard and the program settings, or add more RAM. that should help.
