Re: Convert .rm file externsion to mpeg file extension

omg u ppl are retards all u do is repeat the question... u ppl sucks shit

Re: Convert .rm file externsion to mpeg file extension

Ok then tell us smart arse, how do you convert a .rm file to a .mpeg file then....

Re: Convert .rm file externsion to mpeg file extension

It doesn't work very well, but you can Use TinRa to convert it to AVI, then use TMPGEnc to convert it to an MPEG. I am currently looking for a better method since Tinra is quite Unreliable.

As far as the posts. I find that alot of unheard of site tend to have morons posting simply the quote.

: Ok then tell us smart arse, how do you convert a .rm file to a .mpeg file then....

Re: Convert .rm file externsion to mpeg file extension

All these fucking Q/A boards are 99.9% repeats
of the original question.
And to the above responder, I dont know the answer
I was looking for an answer.

I sometimes wonder if the site operator does
the repeats in places like this to make his site
look "active" while its not!!!

The freeware Cubase PC_VST_ALL_37R2_UPDATE

[The body of this post has been reconstituted from replies so it may differ from what was originally written.]

I have downloading this program, but when I tryit to Setup he ask me for the serial number. If you say that is free please send me that s.n.

Re: The freeware Cubase PC_VST_ALL_37R2_UPDATE

In the Licence Conditions it states;
For registered users of Cubase VST only

This is because the file is an Update for users who have already purchased Cubase VST. It is
free for them to update their already purchased copy of the software.

How to switch beats for mp3's

Does anyone know how to take one mp3's beat and one mp'3s words and put them together. I need to switch beats on songs. Can somebody plz help me with software that will help this.

Re: How to switch beats for mp3's

What I would do is download WinBPM and measure the beats per minute of the song that you want the music of. Then see if you can find an accapella version of the song that you want the lyrics of. Again, use WinBPM to measure the beats per minute of that song. I use a software called Sonic Foundry ACID Music to mix the two files together because it has a pitch control function that allows you to adjust the beats per minute of each file +-16%. Pretty cool. The output is a WAV file but then you can easily convert it to MP3. It sounds like a long process but it actually doesn't take that long once you have the software.

PS. If you can't find the accapella version, it may sound rough but it might still be do-able, especially if you drop the bass out of the lyric song and just use the mids and highs.

Hope it helps,

i need to find a music maker

hey i just want to know whats a good progran to make beats.like if you have played music generator on playstation you know what i mean...except on a computer

Re: i need to find a music maker

Hilo!

There are many shareware and freeware software that are available that make beats for you. There is a freeware program called 'Hammerhead' but I prefer using a wave mixer to make beats like 'Magix Music Maker SE' or a freeware called 'Acoustica' All you need is that and a few audio clips of a BD drum, Hats, claps, snares, crashes, toms, shakers ETC and if you know how to adjust tempo and know where to put them, you'll find out how to make awesome beats. I am a Remixer/Producer known as Eternaljoe, and I hope you find this information useful. Please visit my website and fell free to download samples of the songs I've created and Remixed. See you later! -- Eternaljoe

Re: i need THE ultimate home pc - making - music solution

hello m8.Im from england.Im not a pro or anything but I really enjoy makin me own tunes and Im a bit of a perfectionist but also a poor student.
If you want cheap solutions then you should follow my example...(IF U DON'T WANT TO USE MIDI SEQUENCERS!!)
I use an 'SB live' (creative)sound card which you can probably by over there for $60-70 or less.
you can do a MASSIVE range of effects live and record them live - all the sorts of stuff you get with a super-expensive guitar amp.you can extensively edit the parameters bla bla bla, best card Ive ever had for 40 squid.
Aside from that I use a huge range of software that I have collected over the past 2 years...mainly freeware and shareware(like I said-I'm poor :) but for the best drum sounds I use something I got with this crap soundcard I used to have. It was called the VORTEX.It came with a waveloop sequencing/editing program called Future Beat 3D, and had a load of really good clear crisp REAL drum sounds with it (primed for mutilation at a later date!) and I use these all the time. If you cant get that though I found a Drum sequencing program on the net that I'm sure have used the same Kit(???) It's name is..............erm...........
if you use that prog you'll have to sample the beats you make LIVE which means cutting/editing etc...
My solution to the problem was take the drum Sounds from Future Beat 3D and Put them in a folder in A Program called FruityLoops (also available shareware) Which lets you make drumbeats as easy as lego and you can export them as loop files at your desired bpm...eccellentio
For makin me own tunes I use the Prog called Rythmania that comes with creative SB live which u can use a keyboard with (through the midi port)
or Bome's Mouse Keyboard(http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/freeware/98/),after that, record and import to a wave loop sequencer called ACID (you can buy in the shops for $40-50) from where you can do all sorts of great stuff.
If u like my methods and want to know more just
send me mail - I'd be happy to help

This is where my money went.

The companies that you should talk to (at www.company_name_here.com)

WaveDigital
Soundchasers
Audio Computing
and there's one more, but I don't remember the name. It starts with an I

If people say faq systems, don't believe them. They are out of business (that's who I bought from).

Get a Cubase Vst 5 producer pac and you'll get everything you could ever need.
Get some software synths and samplers too: www.propellerheads.se and www.nemesysmusic too.

Get a MOTU 8x8 interface and off you go.

Steal drum sounds off the net (run a search on drum sounds)

Soundfonts are instrument sounds to be played by a Creative SoundBlaster soundcard (crap) or a keyboard hooked up to a soundblaster card.

Bye.

thanx man ....
your the only one who helped

Re: software to edit MP3

Using DJ/mixing software is really a matter of choice as there is a great deal of differing functionality between programs.

You'll find a great collection here.

You might find the following worth looking at:

And to burn the mix - no gaps...

Burning in DAO mode will allow you to eliminate the silent gap between the tracks on the CD;

How the hell do I do this?

I'm the lead singer for Doublewide, and I'm looking for an easy way to sit in front of my Macintosh, play a guitar part, then listen to it as I write a base part, then, layer another guitar track, etc. and then be able to adjust the tracks, and take them to the band in a fairly finished form so we save time. does anyone have any suggestions for me as to what the best software, (Hopefully cheap) would be?

From time to time...

.... some music magazine's front cover CD's carry some interesting free programs. At one point this year, Computer Music magazine released a full working copy of Logic Audio Fun. This would allow the Mac to record Audio through the Microphone/Line input into the Multitracking environment. Logic make much more serious software that will cost you in the region of £500 for the top model although the free, logic fun would get you going. Spend around £50 and you could move onto Logic AV.

Cubase is another Macintosh favourite and, I think there is a usable demo of it in the file area listed below. The programs at this level though, will be a hard place to learn the basics of Computer Multitracking so be warned. There are a bunch of other programs although these are as good as any and better than most...

Best Wishes

all-software studio

Is this possible: (does this software solution exist)
VST controling a software sampler, and then having the output sound processed by plugin-effects like any other audio track in VST.
What software should i get?

Also: would this work as smoothly as a hardware sampler (and synth, drummachine, etc...) or am i going to run in to latency problems and cpu overload really fast?

I own a complete "normal" studio with samplers/synths etc already, but since I in theory can have many more effect modules in my computer than i will ever afford to buy in "normal" hardware modules, then this would be a very attractive setup..

/Mikkel

Re: all-software studio

www.nemesysmusic.com makes the most hardcore software sampler ever called gigasampler. It is good (fonts are up to 128 velocity layers per key. The piano is a gig.

Fuck zero latency processing. Track the gigasampler tracks to VST, and then process later.

If you just need a drum synth, the LM-4 (99$) by steinberg handles 18 drums at 128 layers and kits are produced by third party players. VErgy Good.

WHAT SOFTWARE FOR A BEGINNER

[The body of this post has been reconstituted from replies so it may differ from what was originally written.]

I am a total beginner to this music lark. I am interested in making dace/house music on my computer. Could someone please tell me which software is best for this, it has to be freeware.

fruty loops is all you need

I used fruity loops to make my songs. It has a TS404 built in.
All my songs were made using this god sent program
my songs can be heard at
mp3.com/djnovastar (mostly melodic trance and dance musics)

Re: fruty loops is all you need

I am interested in this product.

I am looking around for some music making software for my computer.

john

Re: WHAT SOFTWARE FOR A BEGINNER

A single software author has created three different computer aided music
programs, all of them Freeware. Unfortunately, you can only go so far on Freeware, but
the following are worth having a play with;

Tuareg for Windows 95/98/2000
HammerHead Rhythm Station for Windows 95
The MoonFish for Windows 95/98
