I've wanted to act for so long you have no idea, but I've never had the chance so now that im 13 i made a goal for myself and thats to make my dreams happen. I have a need for attention and im not shy at all. Just give me something to do and trust me ill handle it. I have a well-rounded backround and i always act in the mirror. Plus, I have been in school plays and almost all of my teachers think that i have talent. Quoting from my teacher last year "Kt, you have talent and i think you can go far. I bet ill see you on brodway in a couple years." Now, in a couple of months everyone is going to know Brianne Bushner. She's my boyfriends sister and she has a lot of talent and started out in commercials and thats enough for me. She left 1/31/04 and is auditioning for a movie and thats partially what made me think of this and if you've gotten this far into my little summary i hope you like me and enjoyed this. Problem installing plugins

Whell I have a problem.I downloaded a vocal remover from site and I whanted to install it in a adobe audition or cool edit 2.0 pro.
But in those programs there are no VTS folders or any other directory where I could install those plugins.

This little plugin is compatibile with cool edit pro 2.0.

they may be DXI (Direct x) plugins not VST

MIDI SEQUENCER AND COOLEDIT 2000 SYNC

Hi I am sorry but I am having to ask a question that if unanswered is causing my work to stop. I read some articles on time code but could not help myself.

To do this first I must give you an idea of my setup:

- Two internal soundcards with MIDI and audio - AWE32 and Montego II Home Studio (Turtle Beach)
- One external Korg X5DR sound module
- One Echo Mia 24-bit card with upto 96k capability
- One Pocket Express (MOTU)
- Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro (MIDI + Digital Audio Sequencer) with max 44 k 16 bit capability
- CoolEdit 2000 4 track audio recording and editing software
- Dumb MIDI Keyboard

The problem goes like this:

I have produced a full album on the midi sequencer and have been requested by the producer to give him the songs on a CD. These are nursery rhymes. The Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro has the limitation upto 16 bit 44.1 k whereas I want to record 24 bit 48 k before I write the CD. For doing this I want to transfer my tracks to CoolEdit 2000 but in sync, i.e., maintaining the original time relationships between the tracks.

I do not know how to do it. If I press record on CoolEdit and playback two tracks from my MIDI song in the Voyetra sequencer, these two will get recorded first. But if I have to record the 3rd and 4th track keeping the original time relationship between say track 3 and track 1 or 2 intact, it is not possible.
Obviously some kind of sync setting will be required.

I am unable to figure out any such sync setting in CoolEdit 2000 that will allow it to be in sync with the MIDI sequencer?

AcustiX Concert Grand Piano trial version question

Does anyone know if it was sampled from a Steinway or Bosendorfer? I cannot determine this from the website.

Anyway, the trial version sounds excellent for such a compact trial size (10MB)

Windows Media Problem?

I have a couple tracks ripped from a CD to .wma format.
Whenever I try to play one of them, my computer attempts to connect to the internet - from the folder. Hitting the back button makes it go forward and try to connect again. I cannot do anything to the tracks, clicking, rightclicking and even selecting a track has the same effect.

Can anybody help??? Pleeeeeeaaaaassssseeeee??

Windows Media Player will automatically try to connect to the internet to facilitate streaming Radio/media....

If you don't want it to connect you will need switch it off in the OPTIONS

You're wasting your time posting this here - the chances of a record producer coming to this site and reading your post is about as likely as George W Bush being the first man to land on Mars (however much some people would like that to happen).

If you want to make any progress in the business, you need to make a demo in a proper studio (not in your house), then send it off to the record companies. They're not going to come looking for you. If that fails, then try your local radio station and see if they'll give your stuff some airtime.

The important thing is - you have to produce a professional demo and get it noticed.

The local radio suggestion is a good one. Despite the fact that radio stations have been 'bought' by the music industry massive, there are still some radio shows that will play new and unsigned acts.

No one is out there to help you. There are just people that will rip you off if you were their one in the million act that will get some promotion. There are girl and boy bands everywhere..

A while back, Rioport merged with a company called Ecast. I tried e-mailing them today (02/21/04) to see if they can give me info on contacting Rioport. You might want to do the same so that they realize there is a big problem. Go to www.ecastinc.com

volume control

I have burnt a mp3 cd of various classical music and as you know within a piece the volume can go from very loud to very soft.Is there a music editing software
(Pref Freeware)that i can use to reduce the highs and raise the lows and then save for burning, so my wife does not keep turning down the volume when im driving
