This is a time consuming issue. I've attempted this by taking the wav, editing it, then loading it to a mix all itself (solo). Then record it and export it as a trk file. Then use it as a part of another mix (as originally intended in it's newly trk state). This can include alot of debugging. A while back I purchased Wavesurgeon which, MixMan's User and Tech's Manual claimed to have wav to trk export support, but turned out to be BS. Steinbergs Recycle (wav editor) will do the wav to trk conversion no problem, but for 100.00+ buck's - which to me (at least right now) is not worth the investment. I have a wav editor, why would I want another... It's beyond me why (since mixmans studio pro comes with wav editor sampler (Wavelab Lite) Mixman does not have them work in the export support or they (Mixman) just simply put one in the whole "Pro" package. Anyhow, you asked for advice not complaints right? So, if your up to the invest - check out Steinbergs site and get Recycle - you can download a demo for try outs. It will let you convert wav to trk, but only those wav files that come with the demo. Or Cubase VS will also do. Meanwhile - I think I'll try out D Spreens suggestion...

1.Just load the file into a mix as a .wav file.
2.If you have Mixman Studio Pro you can take
the file into the effects studio.
3.From here you can either add effects to the
sample or load an effect and then use the

4.Export the file to your mix and it will
automatically save as a .trk file to a folder
somewhere on your computer where you can
access it.

This was a bitch for me to figure out too. Email
me if you have any problems or if you find any

That's good for you to say .
My mixman won't load wav files becouse it can not load it in the memory.
I adjust memory made it the size of 20 Meg hardDrive and it's still ggive me error about my memory . funky computer i got .
So I look for wav to trk converter too. :)

the file is:{405DE7C0-E7DD-11....2C5-00C0F01F77C1} and
it downloads to about 74% then either freezes or

Hi!
If I were you I'd forget about mp3.com. I've never had much success with them. If you want mp3s I'd start at www.bresso.com.
