MIDI Out Drivers

Where will I get MIDI Out drivers like the one Wingroove uses. I would like someone to tell me such locatiobs as I am interested in the structures of these drivers.
Please help me out guys !..

You can layer tekno tracks easily with Tstar

the new release of multitracking software i have uploaded
to Zdnet and winsite will let you build tekno tracks
from sample loops. read the tutorial that comes with package.
just record a blank track , label each sample with the id
SP01 thru SP99 - which allows for 99 samples.
Right click over blank track pastes.
i'll check back here occassionally for questions.

Tuareg

Tuareg is a good software but i think fruityloops2 is better.
PS: I need a "full" version fruityloops 2 (not the crippled demo version)

Re: Tuareg

Go to www.fruityloops.com and register there.
Otherwise you should use freeware, which
is available everywhere. Just like Tuareg you
just mentioned. It may not be as good as
FL, but it's *free* for crying out loud and
therefore is actually extremely good value
for money *lol*

Re: Tuareg

Tuareg is HERE !

Hi Josh,

you can find TUAREG on my site:

.WAV to .MID conversion??

I want to embed a .Mid (midi) file on a page but my input would be a track from a CD which I have converted to a .WAV file using Musicmatch.

Is there a .MID file builder using a CD in the D drive as input???

: : : : : I have software which allows me to convert .MID to .WAV, .WAV to .MID, .WAV and .MID to .MP3 or .CDA (CD-Audio) -- and yes, I -can- convert .CDA to any of the above formats. It would most likely be expensive, however -- you would need to send me your CD thru snail-mail, with a note explaining -which- track you wish to convert AND a postal money order (USA) to cover return postage (so I could send your CD back), and I would need to charge a nominal fee for my time & effort -- then there's the problem of returning the .WAV file to you. If you're wanting a complete 3-minute song, for example, the .WAV file could easily be 20-MB or larger; too big for 3½" floppies, too big for CD-ROM, and much too large to send thru E-Mail. But if you can devise an ingenious solution which covers all the bases, feel free to contact me further. Don't be concerned if I don't respond immediately; it may take me anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks to answer all the mail I'm receiving. You might also consider the legal issue -- if you're using someone else's copyrighted song on your Web site without advance written permission from the artist or record company, you could find yourself in court -- so DO be careful, OK -? Hope some of this helps.

MP3 converter

I am new to the MP3 experience and would like some advice. I have download a few songs from napster.com, and would like to know if it is possible to convert the MP3 files into a format that would allow me to burn them onto a CD? Also, is it possible to convert them into a format that would allow me to use the CD on a regular CD player? If this is at all possible can you tell which program on your site would best suite my needs?

Thank you...

Beatnik

I have been trying to find ways to add music to my sites. I like what I hear about the Beatnik plug-in, and from what I have seen, it is really, really fast playing. Has anyone out there tried using beatnik for their web development? I want to know if you can save speech as a beatnik file. If anyone has any help for this, I would really like to know. Thanks.

the frootie loops is just too specific or precise
im just starting, i wanna play around with making tecno
songs for me and mabey my friends to listen too
any help or feed back is greatly appreaciated

I'm new at this too. I agree fruite loops (or whatever its called) is probably very useful for someone with a bit more "Electro DJ" savy. But I found two programs that are very user friendly. You can create beats and techno sounds in real time. They are SIM-SYNTH & D-LUSION SOUND SYSTEMS
Check them out there right here on this site .
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! Good luck! Sagamisan

mp3 to wave without gaps how

I have my music in mp3 format but when i convert it to
wave i can not take the gaps out for continuous music
cds but still keep it in track format is there any software or tips you can give me thanks.

Are you using Disc At Once when you burn the cd? This will eliminate the 2 second gap if your software and CD Burner support DAO recording (I think most do). I have problems with a skip in between tracks even when I use DAO recording. Its especially annoying when the tracks run together as they do in live concert recordings. If this is your problem, I haven't found an answer as of yet. I downloaded Wav Trim and MP3 Trim, two small programs that are supposed to remove the silent parts, but they didn't work for me. You can give them a try (they're free)at: http://www.jps.net/kyunghi/mp3encod.htm
Good Luck!

Mboom for newbie????

Hey,
I d/led the crippled version of Mboom, and I kind like it.
I bought a SB live mp3 card that came with Cakewalk Express, which to me,
seem to be overdone and confusing. At $100.00, Mboom is alot cheaper than
Cakewalk pro and more than the basic fruityloops (which I can't use because I use NT).

Is Mboom toy software? Is it worth spending the money for? Is Acid or cool edit better?
I don't know jack about this stuff. I want to create music for the web and for myself.
Any comments would be welcome.

Re: Mboom for newbie????

: Is MbooM toy software? Is it worth spending the money for?

MbooM is centainly NO toy sofware!!!
MbooM is about having fun while making music

if you want to be convinced,
just download the songs i made in MbooM
and try them out in MbooM, just make sure you
have the latest version

What's the best LP and cassette ripper available

I'd like to convert my LPs and cassettes to CD's and am looking for some advice on the correct software to buy. I was told that WinOnCD 3.6 was the best at this time, however the person that I heard that from was the guy selling it. Ive seen some shareware that look alright, but this is all new to me so I thought I better ask. I'd appreciate any other advice anyone would have on the subject.

Will I be charged?

I am downloading the media player and I wanted to know if I will be billed.
Thanks

Re: Will I be charged?

No need to worry - you won't be charged anything as
the program is completely free.

In fact you can download all of the programs on this
site for free. When you've downloaded a program look
up the 'Help' menu for the word 'license' or 'register'
and it will tell you how long you can use the program
for, for free.

Sometimes a program will be completely free and other
times it might ask you to send a small payment to the
author if you want to keep using it after the free
period or if you want extra features unlocked.

C.D.-R. to computer ? how ?

Would like to input my own music CD-R into my computer (Win98) What do I need ? Will all my careful noise shaping have to be compressed into something decidedly not Audiophile ?

transfer cubase registration

Anyone know if it's possible to transfer your registration
for Steinberg software if you sell it privately ?

I am selling a copy of Cubase 4.0 and LM-4. I've registered
both of them and I'm wondering if that registration might be
transferable at all.

Trying to contact Steinberg isn't proving very fruitful...

Decent wave editor

Can anyone suggest a good wave editor (preferably free) that can turn my "fart in a bucket" recordings into something worth listening to?

Re: Decent wave editor

What's up? What you need is Steinbergs Wave Lab 3.0 It is a costly piece of software ($300), but I will tell you where you can download a full registerd version of it for free. It is called the MP3 Pro Club. The link is http://albansaint08.virtualve.net/main.htm. When you get there go into the downloads section. The first thing you will need to do is download WinRAR which they will have for you to download on the page. WinRAR is just like WinZip. If you know how to use that you'll be fine. Next scroll down until you see Steinbergs Wave Lab 3.0 and download it. It will download in a winRAR format. Just click on it and unzip it and then click on the wave lab icon and your ready to install it on your computer. Also the registration key comes with it in the winrar file so make sure you read that first. Any other questions just let me know.

Tuareg is the *BOMB*

Hi all you remixers...
just a quick word dropped by the baddass
queen of funkee beats. I D/L'd TUAREG last
night and it kicked sooo much butt that
I want more! When is the bigger version
being released? Does anyone have any info
for moi ?

AND I AM READY TO EXPLODE!

I was just mentioning this in another
thread about loops and breakbeats...
No, I don't know when the big daddy-version
will see daylight, but if this guy waits
too long I will either explode or just go get
it from him in person ;-)

Seriously, don't keep us waiting too long !
I need it... there are CDs waiting to be
filled with all the ideas Tuareg pumped into
my head!
