I am looking for a good sound editor for speech (no advanced music stuff necessary. But I just want to try it out. What is the best software on trial version?

There are many sound editors for free or shareware cool edit is good. Computer Music magazine is a good resource i don't know what there website is but it shouldn't be hard to find. Soundforge is excellent but i don't know what there demo is like.

I am looking for a software program (freeware) which i can download to my computer and the upload applicable portions to my website. I need guitar graphs, grids, chord grids, notation, etc. Anything that would be helpful to my guitar students in an online teaching environment. Hope you can help. Thanks

If I understand what you are saying, I think the best way to do that would be to view them on your screen, and take a screen shot, whre it basically makes a picture of what is on the screen. You can then edit that picture to have only what part you need students to see. they can be made by pressing the print screen button on your keyboard ( print scrn ), and then saved in jpg or gif format and added to your webpage as a standard image.

WAV to AIFF files

Cooledit... or soundforge.
Just open the file, and click save as, then choose Apple AIFF it saves them as a .aif file.

cubase vst/motu micro express

I've been using vst for 4 months now and i can't get it to work properly with my MOTU micro express. the songs i had previously recorded inside the old cubase
wont play back all the way thru,the midi signal drops
out half way thru the song. please anybody help.

VST Instrument

What is a VST Instrument and how do you use them. I understand VST FX plug ins and use them with WaveLab 3.0 and with the latest version of n-Track, but what the heck is a VST instrument and how do you use it? It looks like a synth that you activate like a VST FX plug in, but how do you make a track with it? Can the sound you synth up be played with a MIDI keyboard?

Is there a tutorial somewhere that I haven't found yet?

Hey there,

I want to start doing some audio broadcasts (hobby) and need to know how I can multicast using a 56k modem. This is just for fun mind you and of course, this will be a great tutorial for SMM users. Can anyone help me out here?
