Format of sound files

I can find wav/mid file format. But I cannot find ra/rm file format and wma. I need how consists of header in file. Where I can find it?

Does any one know of any software out there that can do just this?
I have seen one peice of software but this only lets you convert 40 secs of music.

Error in Midi

Here's What I do.
Win98SE with Sibelius 2.11
I try to test devices (Roland Mpu401?) and 3Com eusynth.
I get no sound from the first device and the second reports Error20: mmsystem020 the driver did not generate a valid OPEN callback.
I'm stumped with this.
Any help?

Cubasis 4.0 Track Repetition

I am currently using cubasis vst 4.0 with my fast dell computer. I have an asio compatable sound card and far exceed all of cubasis system requirements, but I have a serious problem. After recording my first track, this track is repeated through the rest of the recorded channels. I don't have to play anything new. Cubasis plays my initial recording through all other open channels where I am trying to record another track. I hope someone can help me. Thanks so much

Hello all,

The lyrics what I can remember are quiet embarrassing im afraid, I was under the influence of alcohol when this song came on and the group I was part of thought this song was hilarious, but no one knows what it is called or who sings it???

It was more of a talky song rather than singing, and it appeared as though the artist was talking to a hotel manager and part of the lyrics went something like this?

“Hello I want a sheet on my bed” “You cant take a sh*t on the bed” "no you don’t understand I want a sheet on my bed” “look you cant take a sh*t on the bed you son of a bit*h”

Not a lot to go on im afraid……can anyone name this song and the artist, I have only heard it once and even then I was drunk…..please help

It seems to be called either "The Italian Who Went To Malta" or "The Pizzaman".

A fellow at another forum posted: "I dunno if it is the right version i have but it is called The Pizzaman by Cisco Kid and is on the Ministry Of Sound Clubbers Guide 2003 disc 2"

Cisco Kid is apparently a Belgian band. I couldn't find any lyrics for "The Pizzaman."

"The Italian who went to Malta" is not presented as a song, but the full lyrics (if that's what they are) are at: http://128.32.250.15:8080/gwinbeer/2001/10/20

Here is my question as clearly as I can put it...
After making a compilation of mixed music using MAGIX MUSIC MAKER my MP3 device reads the whole compilation as one long track with one name...I want to be able to tag each track so my player can display the track info for each song...I do not however want to cut up the mix...is there any ID3 software that you know of that can help me do this.

I've been playing midi for years, but I used ATARI which isn't popular right now. Now I use Korg keyboard n want to change to new basic software for writing and arrange music. but which one has better capabilities, cakewalk acid or cubase?

Searching for the right software!

Hello,

I'm trying to find a program that will allow me to do multiple things such as: sound editing or remastering of old tapes etc, as well as my own productions w/mixing and sequencing -- something that will allow me to make music, which has notation capabilities, which has numerous effects and sounds, which has midi capabilities. Basically something which combines a lot of different things. A combination of say Reason, Cakewalk Sonar, and Finale all in one.

Are there any magazines or websites that you might reccomend checking out for more info on music and production software? How can i learn about what's out there? How can i get more detailed descriptions of the software that's out there.

Anyway, i hope i haven't asked too much.

This website is a pretty good place to start but I can't think of any one program that combines all of these needs into one package.

You can get quite a bit of detailed information on the software by heading to the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/">software categories</a> and taking it from there. You will see categories such as notation and audio editing. If you go to individial pages for wach program you will find detailed information on the programs as well as a discussion forum. For instance, see the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Reason/">Reason</a> page.

How do I convert .cda into .wav or midi

I got a problem with the direct x plug ins, in which
some of the features of different plug ins don't
work. ejem in cool edit Pro 2.1 ruuning Izotope's
ozone the widennig feature does not work but the rest
of the features works ok. So is the same with other
plug ins from hyperprism, dsp fx, etc.
I I use Sound Forge 5.0 the sanme thing in Acid3.0
ident.
Have remove the cool edit, from the HD and have it
reinstalled again, have reinstalled the direct x
but still have the same problem.Does anybody
can help me? plan to formate the HD and have windows
2000 reinstalled again together with all programs,
unless somebody have a better solutions.
Appreciate any assistance.

This would be a very extreme thing to have to do to resolve the problem. Like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

If you have already re-installed Cooledit.
I would be more inclined to suspect the plug ins.
Maybe check to see if there are know issues when using them with Cooledit.

Doe they react the same in other environments ?

we dont care what genera
whoever joins us we will split the $ after costs

That's a great idea. But you might want to put together a webpage to promote the project as you've barely provided any kind of information on the CD. For instance, when is the deadline for submissions? What does your band sound like? Do you have any tracks we can check out?

BANDS UNITED RELEASE WORLD'S LONGEST MUSIC CD! OVER 90 MINUTES OF MUSIC!!!

Bands United is an international community of unsigned artists just released on a double CD compilation.
