i had the same problem, so i downloaded version 2.06.somting complitly deleated the older version and it worked for like a month or 2, now when i try to recorde music to my md i get en error report.
sonic stage is really a f***ed up programe.

Everytime I open sonic Stage the program freezes... Why? How do I export my library? Or delete the files maybe this is why it freezes to many files in the library.... I guess... Someone please help

Each time I now try, doing exactly the same things, I get error messages that say either: failed to write data to device/media, or memory in your device /media is full. I had the same problem on XP after installing office 2003. MsAccess told me to install Jet 4.0 (SP8). and then the problems started. I search and found that you have to install MDAC 2.8 also. It worked!!!

Just wanted to let people know that I too was experiencing this %$#$@!! bug, and the solution stated above solved it! Thanks Johan!

I'm running Windows XP Professional and when I try to open Sonic Stage I get an error, missing or corrupt database file. I have tried to reinstall the programme, plus everything else I can think of, and I keep getting the same error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I suggest you try using RealOne Player. It's much better than sonic stage and a lot easier to use. If all else fails you can always use Nero and the Net MD Simple Burner. In the second case, you need to record the songs u want with Nero Burning Rom, using the image drive as ur chosen recorder. Then load the image using the virtual image drive. Open Net MD simple burner, and record the song to ur MD. Using RealOne is much easier, u just drag & drop.

Apparenlt you can only transfer one way, PC->MD, copy protection wont allow MD->PC.

cubase error

hi, i run cubase 5 on a mac. recently when iam recording a live band (around 10-13 tracks) iam getting a set error " audio record error" this normaly follws the screen slowing down etc....

... iam at the end of my rope trying to fix this, can anyone help?

Hi,

I get BAD bass distortion when I record local rock bands with my minidisc & tiny electret microphones but NOT with quieter, 'acoustic' bands.

I have tried ALL kinds of levels @ all distances from the stage but to no avail (I've got some wonderfull recordings of applause & inter-song banter, though!!)

Is it due to SPLs? Can I d.i.y the mics to make them more 'robust'? HELP!!

It has the Bulk Dump function via MIDI interface, but I have not the software for my PC (Win95) to receive and process this information. Can anybody reccommend me the corresponding software on the WEB? May be the freeware software is availiable?

Multitrack recording problem

I Would appreciate if someone can help!

I listen to the music from one track and try to record my voice on a seperate track. A new track is created
but it also recorded the music from the listening track. I used 3 different multitrack recording programs but the same problem occurs.
I used to do it a few weeks ago.
Would there be something wrong with my sound card?

problems wit' wavs in Fruityloops v4.1

Most of the wavs from original fruity catalogs are not detected by the software, they exist in the catalogs but Fruityloops treats them as not visible,i've checked the troubleshooting file and it says that one of the audio codecs is disabled...but it wasn,t,i have a sound blaster live card.... and really need help

To install the codec (also see the attached image):
1. go to the folder System\Installers\VorbisACM under the FL Studio folder
2. right-click on the file called "vorbisacm.inf"
3. choose the option "Install" in the menu that appears.

The codec should now have been installed properly.

I have just purchased 10,000 mp3 record tracks on a brand new hard disk from www.springfm.co.uk for next to nothing - has anyone else used this service ? The tracks date from the 50's right up to the current charts - its saved me hours in downloading and the quality is brill !
