why dont you try using some software ,, say calkwalk .. chakewalk can do this this for you in no time.. n its dead easy .. download a demo version of pro audio 9 and try it yourself

Hi i saw a friend use a vst plugin that made a vocal wav play at a high pitch and a low pitch at the same time. Daftpunk used it on their homework album, Track 9 :Teachers. Can you tell me the name of this plugin.

Sounds like a pitch shifter, the PitchAccum in Steinberg's GRM Tools can do this quite well :)

follow these steps

1.go to visualization options or press alt-o
2.click on "output" under the plugins section on the left
3.click on "nullsoft diskwriter plugin"
4. click on configure.
5.choose what directory to save the wav file
6. load the list of mp3s to convert.
7. make sure loop isnt selected
8. click on play and wait until done.

Forget B. box .. if its just a drum machine ure after .. try bram boss' hammerhead rythem station to start with .. once u learn the basics of importing samples and exporting patterned waves .. try switching to either fruity loops pro or bram boss' taureg.. taureg has built in rythem machine called rage.. dead easy to use and quite impressive.

No. Hammerhead is not the best. Hammerhead is the only the place to start.

Once you know how to use Hammerhead (all of thirty-five seconds), get AUDIOMULCH (also on this site). The only thing about Audiomulch: it is NOT a dedicated drum machine, and it does NOT come with its own drums. But once you lay your hands on acouskit1&2 or zmskit1, what else do you need?

Try my website. It is primarily aimed at KS3, 4 and 5 but some things can be used in the primary school. There are free .pdf verisons of worksheets and schemes of work, online lessons and quizzes.

: Try you friendly local piano/keyboard dealer and ask for the Sibelius Demo CD (free of charge) which is a fully-working score-writing package: excellent! Demo vewrsion does not save or scan: but it is very powerful!

You are better of over editting audio samples in an audio editor like cool edit.

To Change MP3's into Waves with winamp, Go to Preferances Click on Output Click on DiskWriter or whatever has diskwiter in it. Then Click on Config to set location of wav's. IMPORTANT!!!! You must switch these settings to hear music again. Failure to do so will fill your hard drive With copy's of the same music.

Hello, thanx for reading this message.

I've got a problem: I want to write music on my PC but there are a lot of sound synths etc. and i dont know what to choose. I downloaded some of them but all is bulls%%t. Please tell me if i need any other hardware(some additional sound cards etc.) or software(any sample libraries maybe) if i just want to have my own small studio in my PC. I think MIDI quality isn't that good so please explain me what do i need to get a small synth(yes, i want an analog of some simple synth, with some drums/drum rhythmes, some piano/flute/violin/etc. samples and so on).

Tip: if you are ripping MP3's, rip them to wav, then edit them, then compress them to MP3. You can not directly edit MP3.

try Cool Edit for declipping and cut unwanted segments from mp3
For convert CD tracks to wav try easy cd creator because it extracts audio digitally right from the disc to your hdd

The software for all-of-the-above would have to <a href="/smm/programs/Cool_Edit_2k/">Cool Edit 2000</a>. This software will let you record from CD, or any other signal through your Soundcard. Professional tools let you edit a number of file formats (including MP3), and a <a href="/smm/programs/CE_Audio_Cleanup/">Audio Cleanup Plug-In</a> is available for the purpose of restoring sound from vinyl or tape. It is worth every bit of the rather low price of $69.
