Get AudioCatalyst. It uses the Xing encoder which is really good. If you are looking at internet audio, be sure to see www.vqf.com.

Recording Vocals

Do anyone know how to record vocals from songs without the beats, bass lines, etc, just the vocal. If there is a piece of equipment or sofware then do you know where I can get it from.

It's not perfect by any means, but some people find AnalogX's <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/VocalRemover/">Vocal Remover</a> useful.

Does anyone know how to insert 32nd notes in the 909 with Re-birth? (e.g. kick drum breaks)

Well, what I tried doing once was to make the tempo double what you actually want it, and put the beats every 8/16ths, so you have 2 beats per bar but as it is double tempo it sounds the right speed, and you have more notes to play with. Can decrease the sound quality a bit, and is a bit of a nightmare to program, especially the basslines. Or just get some kick drum samples.

I actually found a better way to do it, but only on the 909 sections:
You click on the flam button (lower left corner) and then click on the notes, which will light up in green, so if you enter e.g
16th kick drum for a break, it will sound like 32nds, try it!!
