: i really need free piano notes for the song changes by 2pac plz.

Re: i need free piano notes

The only way you will be able to get hold of piano sheet music for 'the godfather' is to purchase it as sheet music, or you could try concerting a recording to sheetmusic using one of the MIDI to sheet music programs on this site, but then, you will probably have to pay for them anyway. Buying the sheet music straight up is by far your better option. And its ususally not expensive at all (in fact- I am looking now for you) <a href="http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_detail.html?sku=HL.313034&cart=60603137535&searchtitle=Sheet%20Music">The Godfather Trilogy</a> is US$14.95 on Sheet Music Plus. There you go.

how??????????????????????

i have no wish to be a dj, i do not wan't to publish music, I JUST WAN'T TO KNOW HOW TO ADD MUSIC TO A WEB PAGE! THANK YOU

Re: how??????????????????????

Unknot your knickers and I will tell you because I am nice person and I have no aspirations for you to become the next Fat Boy Slim.. Right then, you have a choice of formats but I am telling you to go with either MP3 or RealAudio format, or both (options for listeners are good). Use an <i>MP3 encoder</i> to make MP3s, use <i>RealProducer</i> to make RealAudio. Both support encoding WAV, to get WAV from a CD you need a <i>CD ripper</i>. Upload the files to your web server and link to them!! Unless ofcourse you are talking about an embedded sound file.. that is rather different -but then you didn't specify.

RealPlayer

Realplayer is poor in my opinion and the files are too proprietry for general happiness...

I would stick with the Mp3 format. It gives people the choice of what application to use to listening to the music.

playing files someplace other than in acid pro

I'm not to good with computers so this may seem like a simple question. I've done some recordings using Acid Pro 3.0. When I go to open these files, I can only open them in Acid Pro. How can I open them as some other form of media, to possibly play them in winamp, or burn them onto a CD, or anything along those lines?
Thanks.

Re: playing files someplace other than in acid pro

I bet the files have an .acd extension. This means they can only be played in ACID. You'll have to save the songs as a WAV and then you can do what you like with them.

Re: playing files someplace other than in acid pro

Thanks for the response. To save them as WAV, do I just save it as .wav at the end?

Re: playing files someplace other than in acid pro

You'll have to export as a WAV (or maybe it's SAVE AS). If your version is a cracked one, you mightn't be able to save as a WAV. Read the help that comes with the software if you have problems.

req. Acoustic Drum Samples

I'm looking for excellent quality acoustic drum samples. Would also like
percussion and ethnic drumming samples as well.

I am not looking for synth sounding drums.

Thanks.

Re: req. Acoustic Drum Samples

There is a website search engine that searches for sounds of all types and offers sound auditioning as well. I don't er... recall the name but it's out there.

There is also a site called Samplenet which gives some reasonable samples from time to time.

Re: ARRRGGGHHHH HELP PLease, Cakewalk in windows 2000 is driving

Hi
There could be a confict with the interface between the instrument and the
card. It has Been known. I use a very old version of cakewalk and also Sonar
but with XP and found that I needed a different interface. In my case I was able
to use a USB port which cured the problem. When the problem started I also
contacted Cakewalk Help line and found them very helpful it's worth a try.
Hope this will help

....damn spam

Audio troubles.

If I were you, I'd install a Windows 98 folder on your computer and rename it so you can startup in 98 when you need to.
All microsoft products are riddled with mountains of mysterious errors. Another thing is that ASIO sound drivers seem to
be more stable than other sound drivers. Windows drivers aren't so stable. If you have the choice to choose playback and record
drivers, make sure that you use your soundcard drivers and not the windows ones.

Another tricky matter is if your BIOS is setup by default to use a particular sound hardware element or not.
Some computers (most now) have built-in MIDI and audio on the motherboard. This is usually bad news for those of
use who want to use better soundcards. Many times you must disable the motherboard's "soundcard" in the BIOS
startup menu.

Well, I hope something works out.

If you need to run other programs, I suggest Cubasis, DDClip, and Tuareg, as usual.

Problem with XG Gold V3.00 and 4 Element Voices

Hello,

i have a problem with a registrated version of XG Gold V3.00. My
operating system is Win98SE and i use a DB50XG Wavetable which is
located on a Soundblaster 16 ASP.

Everytime when i try to load a 4 element voice whith the XG Gold
Bankloader (QS300 Sounds), i can only hear element 1 and element 2.
Element 3 and 4 are marked as activ (green LED) but i dont can hear
them. When i make a Refresh All, the full sound can be heared (all 4
elements)

I asked the author of XG Gold (Achim Stulgies) and he tried to help
me, but whith no effect until now . He means that i am the first (and
only) person who has this kind of problems with XG Gold.

A modification of the QS300 trouble delaytimes had no effect.

My Question is now, if anybody has the same problems or a solution/tip
for me to make the software playing correct ? Perhaps it is simple a
driver problem ?

Best regards,
Stefan

How do I rip music from a CD on MAC OS 9

How do I rip music ( digitize the songs) from a CD on MAC OS 9? I'd like to have a link on the Web page that people can listen the music!Do you know any software available for MAC for that?

Re: How do I rip music from a CD on MAC OS 9

iTunes is more than likely the easiest route. You can create playlists from the imported tracks. It's free and fully working to. it'll even burn CD's for you.

media player kbps

why there is no sound when i play a downloaded mp3 192 kbps?

Mp3 does not play, try it on another machine, computer or player

Rodica,

What player, or it may not be a complete file, have your friend play it in his computer. Use msn, icq, or Aol's, instant messenger to send him the file so he/she can try it on another computer.

I use Trillian to avoid all the advertizing on Aol, Icq or msn.
http://www.trillian.cc/

Or burn it to a cd and try a stand alone MP3 player as Steve suggested.

Re: media player kbps

Why don't you try the Mp3 in a stand alone Mp3 player and see if it's a problem with the Mp3 itself. If it's not, then I haven't a clue...

the best P2P programs

Re: Reading Akai samples by PC

There is a program now called Translator. It converts many sampler formats for use on the PC. PC's are notoriously crud at reading 'other' file formats, therefore I would format the diskette on the PC and then rely on the samples being recorded on to the PC format diskette.

There maybe other ways..

One of the problems with releasing your music on the internet

Hi everybody,

I've asked some questions in this forum about how to market music
online. I think I have some answers...

Here's a small review about MP3Wrapster, software for MP3 Marketing...

One of the problems with releasing your music on the internet by
creating MP3 files of your songs is that people use different MP3
player software and there is no standard way of linking info about
the author, song, copyright, lyrics, website URL, etc, to the song
file.

So once your music has been copied and downloaded by thousands of
listeners many people wont be able to locate the author of the music.

Lots of lost traffic! Lots of lost sales!

Contrast this to content wrapping technology. I have found a program
that will turn my MP3 files into applications! People can now
download my songs in .exe format. Once you release an MP3 file on
the internet you never know where it may end up and you can't
assume that everybody will have an MP3 player installed.

The .exe application that the software creates is basically an MP3
file plus an MP3 player included with it. Each MP3 song that I have
converted into applications end up approx. 10-15K bigger. But that's
quite small.

And the best part is that the software allows you to include a
clickable link to your website. So people who like your music have
an easy way to locate you and perhaps purchase your music.

You can provide your lyric sheet within the song file as well. The
first few pieces of music I encoded were sample tracks from my
relaxation album, they didn't have lyrics, so I filled out the
space provided for lyrics with some additional appeal to get a
click to my site and song title, author and copyright notice.

You could fill the lyric space with an entire sales letter if
you wanted to.

The software is called MP3Wrapster and costs $99. You can convert
as many songs as you like forever, there's no limits.

You can get it at...

http://www.mp3wrapster.com

The only other way I've found that will create wrapped music content
is a service called CintoA from www.musiccity.com

I didn't like the price they charge. They don't sell you software to
use yourself, they charge on a per song or per album basis to encode
your music for you.

Here's the prices for CintoA that I got off their website...

+ Individual songs are $125 each.

+ Whole records (up to 12 songs) are $495 each.

Those prices might be OK for you if a record company promotes your
music, but
it's quite alot for someone like me just starting out.

So I've decided to stick with MP3Wrapster!

problem releasing your music on the internet - not solved with a

Alexander,

Not to disagree, but I would never download an exe file, to secure music. The threat of adding a registry change is far too great to take the chance downloading an unknown executable file. There is also the threat of a virus, and the sales losses from infecting a users computer would be far more damaging to a musical group than any other thing except not showing up for any scheduled concerts.

MP3 music shared, on the old Napster system, was a great music sampler. When you found an artist's music you liked you searched them out to purchase their music. If you placed your music on the system, it was initially up loaded from you. Presuming you put the proper tags on the mp3 it would load with the song name and artist name, genre, album name, and year produced and the album track number.

All computers come with MP3 players installed, home manufactured maybe the exception, so it is never a problem to play mp3 files. Occasionally users will download real player or use a yahoo player that may not display your web site, and yes your exe program will solve that.

However, an executable program in my opinion is not the way to release music, it will be avoided like a plague. Nevertheless, if the copy of your music in exe file is also loaded with a Trojan or virus it would be the quickest way to end a music career.

What software records an audio stream?

What software will record an audio stream coming from a web radio station, a
station that can be tuned in using the radio tuner on Windows Media Player
(but not recorded with that software)?

Preferable would be an application that could be set to record a stream at a
particular time. Let's say I have a favorite radio show that is broadcast
after I have gone to sleep, and I want to save it as an mp3 (or whatever) so
I can listen to it the next morning.

Software to piece together sound clips?

Hello,

I'm creating a "white-ish noise" CD to blot out
wakeful and disturbing sounds. I've found wav
clips on the web, but they are short. I want to
repeat a clip for a long time, then burn a CD with
it. Maybe fade between one and another,
maybe add them on top of each other. Since
this is a one-time CD, I don't wan to buy
professional mixing software, nor would I have
the time to learn all about mxing. Is there a
freebie software out there to do this?
