My Kazaa won't start

I got a problem with my Kazaa, I downloaded it and installed it. I opened the program and a window came up for me to enter my nickname, e-mail and other info but the program closes down 5 secs after I just opened it. It does this ever time I start kazaa, it closes itself automattically. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

My Kazaa is screwed up too and wont connect, I cant believe I spent good money on a program that dont work, But there is another one that i found thats free.Its called Ares. Its not as good but it downloads alot faster and from a scale of 1 to 10 its an 8

WinMX and iMesh are two alternatives. None that I have found are fail-proof though.

imesh, winmx, limewire and my personal favoutite Ares Galaxy. clearly the best p2p prog for music. fantastic. no spyware adware etc.

Your Kazaa wont connect because you either turned your firewall on (XP users) or a firewall is preventing Kazaa or Limewire to connect. Disable your firewall and your Kazaa will work just fine.

try downloading a new version of kazaa or first uninstall and then reinstall it. then it should work. dont forget to enter the settings before you search

If nothing connects then that suggests you have some
other problem - are you running a firewall on your PC
or are you on a work or college network that's using a
firewall?

I tried recording an FM broadcast to a blank CD in my VAIO CD burner using Windows Media (latest edition), but when I clicked on record I got a notice next to the name of the program that it could not be recorded. What alternatives do I have?

Any thing coming through your PC speakers can be recorded by setting the record input to "all" or "master"

I would like to edit music, take out a verse with out missing a beat, and record my old cassette tapes and records to cd. I have a cd burner. which program do i buy?

i would like to copy music from cd's for routines but i only need certain cuts, say for example first part of cd and last missing out the middle,music on cd is 4minutes long, but routine needs music for 2 minutes only what software do i need?

How do I get Cuebase 3.5V Working at its best on my pc

I have a pentium III 700mhz, 17 gig scisi harddrive,
16 Soundblaster live card, AGP Pro/4x Motherboard VIA Apollo Pro 133Z Chipset, Windows 98SE, Yahmaha Burner, and a DVD cd player.
What I need to know is Im running Cuebase 3.5V and I'm having problems Keeping Audio & Midi in sync. When I play back the tracks it seems that the audio Starts to delay half way threw a song. Also when I stop a song at any point of it and play it from that point it delays terrable
and I Always Have to hit the [reset Devices]menu item to correct this but I know that I should not have to do this all the time or at all if the settings on my computer and in cuebase are set right I need to know what to do to correct this
Very frusstrating! Please Help
ps: if I could also get a list of all the things I need to do to get the best out of cuebase on my pc I would be thankfull.

You can try the kxproject.com drivers for your sound blaster. They work better than the ones from Creative in some applications.

Keyboard to PC, HELP

Hi,

There's a weird thing. I hope someone can help me.
I dissembled every components of my PC, and put them back. But when I tried to run it, the machine told me that system time error and keyboard error and press F1 or F2 to fix the time problem. But there's no response when I press either F1 or F2 key. I noticed that when I start the machine, the small bulbs on the keyboard are flashing. So that means the keyboard are connected to the machine, but why the keyboard doesn't work? Is there anyone having the PC installation menu? If you have, could you please send a copy to me? Thanks

If you want to record the audio that you hear coming from your keyboard connect the line in to the sound card. If you want to record the key strokes and velocities, so the sounds can more easily be modified later look into the program Cubase.

If you can't get the MIDI to "talk" to the computer make sure you have a gameport/MIDI driver installed, and it is selected in the program you are using to record.

Wondering if anyone out there can help? I have just started using Nero Wave Editor and am trying to prepare some audio for use in another programme. Can anyone tell me where i can find the loop facility? The sound will loop in the other programme and I want to check that it sounds okay first. I would be very suprised if there is not one so am assuming that I am just missing it even though I have read the help files..

Any help greatly appreciated..

well, this opcion is not available in the nero, but you can take a sample you want to loop, copy it and paste anytime you want, taking care about the point were you cut it, amply seleccion y choose the rigth point were to cut...but in the cool edit in multitrack view there is an opcion that makes it automatic.
