Take a look at the flash player at www.nodecaff.com. I used it for my site to stream the music of some bands. The player works well with music files saved as MP3 or SWF (the way I use it as my cheapy package does not allow for MP3s to be hosted). It's got all the usual features and streams well.

cubsasis vst v.4.0 audio recording problem

This is a really strange one. When composing a song, after laying down about 2 tracks the sound quality of subsequent tracks deteriorates markedly. I have to delete the distorted track, close the file, reload it and record again. It is as if the system needs purging of some sort of distortion. It is oibviously smething to do t=with the soundcard-Cubasis link as it doesn't do this wih the midi inputs. ANy IDEas?

Does it sound like a 60 cycle hum? If so you may have a ground problem. If is sounds extremely distorted, you may be connecting to the MIC in instead of the LINE in. Try turning down your gain if that doesn't work.

MIDI sequencer suporting Digital Audio

I'm looking for a MIDI sequencer that I can use to create a MIDI file from a digital audio file. No, I'm not looking for a magic program to make a 16 track MIDI from an MP3 :-) The nearest I have found is Quarts Audio, and Pro Tools, but neither run very reliably on XP.

Any one know of a Midi sequencing program that supports Piano roll notation in the track window, tempo changes, and digital audio?

MAgix Audio Studio

i have mAgix Audio Studio 2003...when i record, say 3 tracks....the 1st being the beat and one instrument , one vocal.....it goes fine for about the first verse and chorus....then at the second verse the vocals and instrument go slower than the beat track.....the beat is way ahead and it is all out of synchro.......can anyone help plz ? thanks !

Sounds like you should read the manual and check your settings because the problem could be related to RAM.

Transfer Music to a CD

I'm presuming the song can be heard and exported to WAV. Burn the WAV to CD using <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Nero_win32/">Nero</a>.

how to run ax (Direct X) in real time with Mic as input

Can anyone at all please help me out, i have a Direct X plug in (AX File) and it is for live pitch connection but i cant find any software that will run it live with the mic as the input ... i have tryed sound forge but it must have the input from a file not a live sorce ...

i think a good thing to get started with for what you want to do iz a program called fruity loops...the newest version iz 4.2...i use 3.5 and itz awesome..

YES! I've found the solution! ->Devices/Plugin Info. Check the "old host behaviour" box. (Waldorf Attack needs this box checked as well.)

Kontakt is bugging out for me. Everything else works. SX2 seems to be a pig on CPU.

That is kinda loud dude. Was it a looping (cyclic) sound or just noise?

definitely. Tried different drivers and tweaking all sorts of stuff. Looks like NI and Steinberg (most likely Steinberg's problem) have a few issues to work out.

I got big problems with sx 2 and kontakt 1.3

If i open up a project made with sx1 and are using kontakt the complete system flipps and is kicking out some distorted sounds in about 140 bpm. The only way is to reboot the computer.
If i open up kontakt in a new arrangement in sx2 and then for eg are using a drum or whatever, the kontakt will make a loopsounding sound when i let go of the keyboard.

Driving me nuts. In other words its inpossible to work.

Anyone know whats the problem before going back to sx1

Enable old host behaviour under -> devices -> plugin information -> kontakt.
this should fix your problem.
