Re: Is there a cd burning software that support rm format ?

There is a Nero plug-in at
http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org/
that allows you to use real player files
with Nero (Encode to different format)

Re: Is there a cd burning software that support rm format ?

If you want a CD to play in a stereo, then the files have to be in WAV format, since CD players won't recognise anything else (although a few will play MP3 files from a CD). None of the big CD writing programs offer RM to WAV format. I think Streamboat Ripper will do the conversion. Have a look through previous posts, I'm sure this has been covered before.

Hey audio geniuses! betcha cant answer this, but...I NEED HELP!

ok. no one can answer this. k, we're talking about a live version of a song. what program can i download to seperate the crowd noise from the actual music so i can edit both seperately. EX. make the crowd noise lower than the music and words. cuz my version has the crowd louder than the music. thanks.

It doesn't take a genius

When you record your performance, record the crowd noise on separate tracks from the actual music. Then, during mixdown, you can control the mix between them. This is how it is done. Never mind looking for programs, this is how it's done, analog, or digital. You need a multitrack program.

Re: It doesn't take a genius

Um, I think this person has come into the equation a little bit late for that I think. As in it is not their performance and they are not around when it was recorded.. Steve is right. There is no effective way (yet) to split vocals from instrumentals within a recording.

You can't do that...

If you check the FAQ's under 'Removing Backing Vocals Without The Music", you will find the reasons that you can't do it are the same..

A program that sings using your spoken voice

Hallo people

Anyone of you ever tried to sing vocals for a song, and got frightened with the result? Computer music is nice because it allows people that can't really play instruments (that's me!) to get their music done; but it doesn't help really much if you can't sing at all! I'm developing a software that let you put vocals on modules in an easy way. It sings your spoken words.
I'd love to know if anyone there is interested in that. I spent years on this and it's finally working, so I will maybe release a shareware.
Here you can listen at some samples:

Macintalk grows up.

I'm sure anyone who believes you is interested. I am. It's nice to meet somebody who is helping to develop the future of music.

Interesting...

That's quite interesting. I am still in awe of Melodyne myself..

track 6; tranporting the ship
track 7; ship drop
track 8; have to help a friend
track 9; the shadow universe
track 10; flight
track 11; finale
track 12; star dancing

Re: what is the name of this film track

From fast-rewind.com:
'There are some ok backing tracks in the movie (again, typical of the time) and the only song that really stands out is a pretty long rendition of 'I Get Around' by the Beach Boys. To our knowledge, these have never been released as a soundtrack.

The score for the movie was written by Alan Silvestri and the score CD has been out of print for some time. It contained 12 tracks. '

They could have details of the soundtrack on the DVD copy of the movie. Or try Ebay to find a secondhand copy.

Cassette tapes to CD

We tape all our services at church on cassette. We would like to convert some of them to CD for mailing to some missionary friends in other parts of the world. Can anyone tell me the best, least expensive way to do this. I have a HP CD Burner on my computer.

Cassette tapes to CD

My suggestion to make archival copies of your previously purchased music, or recordings. Cassette, or LP then I would suggest LP recorder, and LP Ripper, to accomplish your objectives. http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/LPRecorder/

Then converting them to MP3 files, or making archival copies from your CD try Cdex 1,40 it is free software.
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Cdex/

Another good program to have is MP3Decode. It is a fast, high quality, and easy to use decoder to convert all those mp3 files you have collected to WAV? Allowing you to create the WAV files needed to for Audio CD Rs that play on a good number CD players. http://www.etalonsoft.com/mp3decode.html

emc style works

can anyone tell me how to get emc style works demo to run after the four days are up.
please help me thank you

Re: emc style works

there is a way to do it:
get program ``Norton Ghost``
before installing emc, compress your hard drive with this program, then format hard drive and restore it from Norton ghost software-takes about 3-4 minutes, then install your EMC over again and you have another 4 days to run.But make sure you compres your hard drive into image file before installing EMc so there wont be any registry keys installed on your drive that will tell EMC that 4 days already expired

MINI DISC and PC, but no digital recording, HELP!!!

Bought a Sony MZ-R700 with digital capabillity. Got an audigy creative in my pc and with digital transferring from the creative to the disc, i got 'NO SIGNAL'. In my perspective, the connectors are correct, but no dice. PLEASE HELP !!!!!

I hope this helps.

Probably the biggest trouble with Sony digital audio products is the stupid use of <b>SCMS</b>. SCMS is a copy protection scheme which allows only limited copies of consumer digital audio streams via S/P-DIF (SPDIF; digital audio cabling).

SPDIF is already mildly troubled because SCMS conflicts with pre-emphasis and other digital data codes. Furthermore, different devices respond to SCMS in different ways. If your Audigy system gives you any control over SCMS, then you will want to start experimenting with the SCMS settings until you find the one that works. This shouldn't take long, I think there are only about 4 different types of SCMS codes.

However, SPDIF seems to have both a consumer mode and a professional mode. Minidiscs for sure use the consumer mode (unless you have a rackmount studio minidisc recorder perhaps). To make matters worse, AES/EBU is a similar digital audio cabling system which is very similar to SPDIF, and ALMOST compatible. AES/EBU is an entirely professional audio format, and isn't designed to be used with consumer audio products. Check to make sure you aren't sending AES/EBU data to your minidisc.

Other than that, make sure that you are sending/recieving data at matching sampling rates, and that the Audigy system is using the correct source. <b>Internal and external</b> signal selection is crucial. Whichever device is sending data should be set to internal, while the recieving device should be set for external.

good luck.

Hello,

I've got a problem with encore 32 v 4.5. I have download the cracked version. It works with windows 2000 but it does'nt with windows xp. The notes and the score are not written correctly. However, the music is played well.

Does anyone knows the same problem? Does a patch exist for this bug? What should I do?

1st Commandment of d-BPM-s

I was just reading a projection in a business magazine that the internet is expected to start slowing down and get fussy with data. This is because many private business networks are being shifted onto the global internet. This means that search engines will be more important for sifting through junk sites. This is not really very big news, but it does reflect my general intuition as well.

Now is a very good time to start improving your web searching skills and tools. Right now, using your favorite search engines, do a search for search engines. That way, you will have a list of alternatives handy for the inevitable day when "Giggle.com" or "Astalavista.com" or whatever hands you 982,734,982,374,293,874 results all related to cheese when all you wanted was a site about bagels.

Heed my warning. I have spoken.
