Automation in fruity loops

Do anyone use fruity loops? I have version 3.4 and I have looked in the manual but am still having trouble figuring out how to automate it so as to make a ts404 modulate and change onver the course of a tune. I want to maybe have a filter closed and muffled in bar 1, and then open up with some more resonance in bar 24, etc etc.

All i can do is make a change to one bar, which then loops every succeeding bar.

Any help is appreciated!

Midi recording - Avance AC97 and Technics KBD

Can anyone out there help me! My friend has bought a Technics SX PR603 digital piano and wants to connect it to there computer via MIDI for some sequencing in Cakewalk. The Avance AC97 card that she has in her system seems to recieve MIDI but I cannot set it up to send it back to the KBD to play it back using the Technics sounds. Anyone got any advice?

I had the same problem, it's the onboard ac97 soundchip that doesn't support midi-in, only midi-out, the tech-support of Advance told me this. So the only solution is buying a new sound card...

on cakewalk where you set the sound card, (not the bank/patch dialogue) you can get it from one of the buttons at the top, - in the box on the left are all the midi driver inputs on the right are the out puts, one of the outputs is for driving an external keyboard.

Most of the time, if you get midi IN then you get midi OUT without problems unless of course that you have not understood the routing within the software you are using. Other causes can be bad leads (swap them around) or not having a sound assigned on the sent channel within the keyboard itself. Check for Midi Filters on the keyboard as well to make sure that it's ready to receive midi... (default generally)

If it had pitch shifting, bpm matching and a few extras that would be a plus!

There are a number of 'live' DJ programs on this site in the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/RE-MIXING_DJ/">DJ/Remixing Section</a>. Also, if you would rather pre-record a mix, try something like <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/cgi/htdig/htsearch.cgi?method=and&format=builtin-long&config=htdig&restrict=%2Fsmm%2Fprograms%2F&exclude=&words=acid">ACID</a>. Just drag n drop the songs and samples. All the hard bits get sorted out for you.

is bpm studio vers 4.2 compatible with window xp? and my sound card is sound blaster live, is this one compatible with window xp? because i have a problem, when i split my players A and B INTO A MIXER, each player play in the 2 slides of the mixer, it s suppose to be player A in slide 1 and player B in slide 2 of the mixer.Everything was correct ,but when i install xp i cant split my 2 player?

LOW SOUND OUT OF MIXER

I,ve wired my mixer up in what i believe is the right way, yet the sound out of it is very low. Ive tried routing it to groups 3 and 4 which makes it slightly louder but gets distorted. Also turning down the channels doesnt necessarily turn down the sound and so you have to turn down the main l and r faders. I've checked the computer and the amp seperately to see if it is either of them, and i have also cecked the wires and there is nothing wrong with any of them, so it must be the mixer.
Can anyone help!!

What is the sound source? sending a sound source through a mix requires that you observe the 'gain structure' of the different stages you put it through and ensure that your not boosting it at one stage and then having to cut it at another.

Tell us what the source material is and the level of that going into the desk.

The sound source is an apple mac g4, but i have also tried it with an akai s3000 sampler and a roland sh101 synth and it is all the same, just a low sound. Ihave also run these through the amp direct and the sound has been fine.

It's one of those, 'I would have to be there' situations. What desk is it?

I can only think it's a fault desk in some ways or the amps are poor and need a lot of attenuation. Amplifying a signal with a desk is a shame and shouldn't be done. There is nothing worse than having to boost an input with mixer amps just to keep them at a line level. Sorry I can't be more help..

You need to download a converter. Its plenty of them on the net. You need to find the one that suits your need.
Any sound can be manipulated, so just put in wav. to trk in your search engine.

Delay sound play back on Giga studio with Gina 20 sound Card

Dear Sir;
I’m working with Giga Studio 160 Version 2.5 on Windows XP Professional using
“Gina 20” sound card with its last driver version 6.04.
My problem is delayed samples play back.
When I play on my Triton Keyboard that is connected to my PC via “MIDI Time Piece AV”, Giga studio play backs the sample sound with delay.

I have changed my OS to Windows ME & reinstalled Gina 20 sound Card with(Version 5.0) driver and Giga studio 160 version 2.0 for windows 9X,I’ve checked out this problem and I found that there is no sample sound play back delay with this setting & OS and drivers for Gina 20.

Tell me how could I solve this problem on windows XP and 2000?
In following lines I have inserted my Giga studio’s diagnostics reports for you.

I would like to know if \someone could help me on the subject of fading (ofcourse not completely) the instruments as much as I can from a track..I know this is a typical question and I do know that it's impossible to completley "get rid of" the instruments..I just need to know what the best formula is to adjust my 14band eq. Not just increasing the (1k)band.

Most intruments have a larger bandwidth than they suggest.. As most things we hear work best between 300hz and 2khz I suspect that picking out AN instrument from others a virtually impossible job. If you have a song with some instruments you wish to 'dull' you are probably the best person for the job. Eq's of the right type are great from dropping out complete bandwidths although a fixed bandwidth Eq like a graphic Eq is not the best for the job. Fully parametric Eq's allow the best control of the boost/cut with selectable bandwidths to the level of notch filtering.

Is it possible to remove singing from music....

I want to know if it is possible to remove singing from music to create backround music. Lets just say I have unlimited resouces. Humor me people. My December (by Linkin Park) has good backround music for a B\W movie ending credits music. Is their any possible way to destroy the singing without harming the music itself. The graphic EQ doesnt drown out the singing at all, so thats out of the question.

I there anyway to convert files to play on a MUZAK cd player. Player will not play anything but MUZAK cd's.
